Ever since I got this in my ipsy bag about 6mos ago I've been in love!! I threw out all my liquid foundation, my pressed powder etc...this powder foundation is amazing! It literally is just like brushing on a 2nd layer of skin. It's not cakey like foundation n it's not powdery looking like powder, it's the perfect balance of buildable coverage, if u have certain things u want covered then trust me this will do it but if u just want a natural "better" version of ur own skin then this is THAT! I can't even explain how it does it but it goes on so easy with a makeup brush n is matte enough to look like actual skin but also has this kind of highlight in it to where it looks like real skin as well. Everybody knows that nobody has skin that is 100% matte naturally cuz we have pores n we naturally will glow in certain areas etc..AND everybody knows that nobody has naturally super luminous skin where your just shiny everywhere all the time so if u dnt have time for instance one morning, to do ur highlight...ur all good w this compact alone! U will still look NATURALLY glowing! Me, myself love a strong highlight so I always do a bit of contour n then a snatched highlight above my cheekbones, my cupids bow above my lip, n down the center line of my nose n then use left over on brush to swipe along my temples, arch of eyebrows n top of forehead but I have woken up late 4 wrk sum mornings n took my 2mins to brush on a light layer of this n been extremely happy walking out the door cuz I looked like I just woke up n left but BETTER! nobody could tell I had ANY makeup on, just super healthy, good, skin that had a natural glow. Or 4 the days u dnt want 2b "done up" n dnt feel like doing a full makeup face...just using this compact, shaping ur brows, a lil mascara n sum tinted lip balm n u will look amazing. I swear I will praise n preach about this product FOREVER n TO whoever will listen bcuz its THAT damn good! Just pick the shade that's as close to ur skin color as possible n ur good to go! Btw, that's another thing about it...it magically finds a way to match ur real skin color even if u dnt get the exact color u needed! Of course if ur like a fair/light and u buy a deep tan u already no thats NOT going to happen on any level(or any planet lol) but if ur just a shade or 2 off it will work itself out. It never looks fake, it's so natural that's y I love it as well cuz I tan alot n there's been times I stop tanning for a month or so n I was able to still use the same compact after I had faded ALOT n it never looked bad, it somehow blended itself n I used a big fluffy brush to brush some down my neck a bit(which I do everyday anyway) n it never looked like I had a dark face n light skin at all! It looked like at most, I had a lil bronzer on or had a tad bit of sun on my face but blended seamlessly in with the rest of my body. So anyways yeah!! This product is life!! I also use other laura Gellar products now like her lip scrub lipstick which is all natural n wrks beautifully in getting old dead skin cells n anything else off ur lips b4 u apply ur lip product of choice n ur lips look 100 times better! But yea Laura Gellar baked balance powder foundation ALL THE WAY! I promise u will get rid of all other face products u thought u needed b4!! (Aside from ur blush/bronzer and highlighter if u use those things)

I love how light this powder feels! It provides buildable coverage yet feels like your own skin! I'm in my late 50's, I'm sporting a few fine lines snd wrinkles, this powder blurs those lines & doesn't settle into areas it shouldn't! My skin looks smooth and refreshed, ive gotten several people tell me i looks "well rested" & "refreshed" Took me a few orders to get the right shade, but now that i know it, this is the last foundation brand i'll be buying! Definitely would recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a light, fresh looking foundation.

I like it, but wouldn’t go overboard. The color match is off. Too dark. Medium coverage even with the right brush and tapping application. Doesn’t hide dark spots, but makes them not as vivid. I apply it on top of the transparent base and dark spot concealer corrector.

I LOVE this makeup! I've gently patted over foundation instead of setting powder in a light layer, and I've worn it alone. It's buildable and smooth. It leaves my skin looking flawless with a beautiful glow. If I only had to pick one makeup this would be it. I am middle aged with mostly dry skin. It is difficult for women my age to find the right makeup that does not enhance what time has created. I used it over moisturizer with and without primer and either way it goes on beautiful.

I have to admit that it was the TV ads that made me want to try this. I have great skin and thought this would make it look more than wonderful. I was wanting that dewy look they showed on TV. Well $25 later I had this product in my hand. It looked wonderful, it was beautifully packaged, and arrived safely. It did not however apply nicely at all. It is a very light and dusty application. I think more of the product ends up in the air instead of your face. It may have been better if I put a moisturizer on that would allow the powder to stick and fill in those few lines, yeah, that's a thought....NO. So it left an artificial silvery glow on my face which drew attention to the few lines I have. It was not natural looking at all. There was definitely not a rosy healthy glow about it and I found it leaning more towards yellow/light orange. And I need to let you know that my product was the lightest they had. I was so very disappointed in this. ALSO, this product may not be fully refunded if you USE the product. That means $25 is gone! But how else are you supposed to find out if it is a good fit and nice application unless you try it?

I am so glad I splurged and gave this foundation a try! I’m 44 and had given up on foundation because it settled into my fine lines, looked cakey and the color was never quite right. I had been using BB and CC creams instead, but still longed for a little more coverage when going out. This stuff is amazing! It blends perfectly with my skin. (Go to the website and take the quiz to find your perfect match.) You can layer it to get the amount of coverage you want and the highlight in it is beautiful! My college aged daughter was very impressed the first time I wore it! She said I was glowing and it didn’t look like I had foundation on at all! If you are over 35, have fine lines, redness or dark spots; BUY THIS!!!

This was my first experience with Laura Geller products and I loved it. I hate to wear foundation due to the feeling on my face, but this was so light I didn't notice I was wearing it. The coverage is buildable and it matched my skin well. I have sensitive skin and this did not cause any issues. It does not highlight lines or wrinkles, nor did it wear off quick. I ordered more of her products to try.
