(Note) my photo appears to be more of a gray but it’s a very pretty light blue) This Quilt is very pretty, well made, perfect thickness and the light blue color is beautiful. I was almost reluctant to purchase this, as Amazon noted it was a “frequently returned item”. But it’s probably only due to the initial impression after opening the package. It was pressure sealed so it looked strange and felt like a box of lead. Haha. However since I always wash linens and quilts after I purchase them, I went ahead and opened the clear packaging and air started coming out— so I washed the Quilt and Shams and they look beautiful. I like the pattern and color of the quilt. It's lightweight but still warm. I had hoped it would be softer but even after washing it's still scratchy. I hope the fabric will soften with more washes and as the quilt ages.

I have been a loyal fan of Laura Ashley quilts for years. The colors, weight, softness and durability. My only complaint is while I had a queen size bed I always opted for a king size quilt for coverage. Now that I have upgraded to a king the quilt is skimpier than I would like. I hope Laura Ashley wakes up like other luxury bedding companies and starts making their quilts in either 108 or 110 inches wide since kings now vary especially if you use a mattress topper. A bedskirt makes it look more attractive but to avoid a wrestling match for quilt real estate with my husband I have resorted to using two identical quilts .Do be careful of washing (cold only) and hang dry to avoid shrinkage. ... show more

Nice lightweight quilt. Shams are oversized from standard pillow. Seems to be well stitched with a nice pattern. Be aware that this blue set has a green undertone. If you're looking for a true blue, you will be disappointed.

I love this bedspread. Elegant but not fussy. Is cotton and breathes better than the one I had that was microfiber. Washes well, and softens with use. I bought a full/queen to use on a full size bad, and it's perfect as a bedspread.

Not long enough on the sides, terrible results after you wash, or not hold up after daily use. This brand is amazing and my go to! The tag says the quilt is 80% cotton, 20% polyester. It's scratchy, not soft. I returned it.
