This 3-sided border (sides and back) keeps the things you set on top of the washer and dryer from falling behind. The size is not alterable so be sure to measure the tops of your appliances before ordering. The washer and dryer must be placed side by side without a gap, otherwise things will fall between them, defeating the purpose of the barrier. It is constructed with thick, not flimsy, plastic and strong magnets hold it securely in place. This product is worth the cost if it saves you the hassle of having to move your appliances to retrieve things.

I like that the frame comes in several pieces. I had to remove the right from piece because there is a light switch there and the frame was blocking it. I like that it has magnets on the bottom so it stays in place. The plastic appears to be sturdy, but I gave 4 stars for it is a little flimsy, but just a little. I haven't had anything fall behind and that is my objective. Good idea. Just not a classy looking feature. But functional.

Purchased this on a whim. Well guess what, I really love this. It took me about 10 minutes to put it together (I should have read the instructions). Once I had it, placed on my washer and everyone was impressed. No more losing items behind or on the side of the washer. Also purchased a mat to place on top, perfect size, and now my liquid laundry detergent containers don’t move around nor fall off the washer. Highly recommend.

It's seems to do what I wanted it for. I just think it's a bit expensive for what you are getting. Cheap plastic for the price you are paying.

I was looking at another similar product and read how the magnets holding it in place were flimsy so I kept looking and came across this one. The reviews were great and many commented on how strong the magnets were, so I purchased it. I am very pleased. The magnets are indeed strong, I have put a flannel backed vinyl table cloth that I folded in half to protect the tops of my washer and dryer and they magnets still hold well. It was easy to put together and serves my needs nicely. Update: July 2021. This continues to work really well. Very easy to clean. Highly recommended.
