  • Beautiful and smooth with a deep, full sound
Color: Sunburst
When you get the guitar it is boxed nicely. The next thing is that it is well made. The buttons are solid. Change the strings! I dropped in some .09 set from daddario. You will have to adjust the bridge a bit to get your comfort right, very easy with the bridge screws. A couple of twists and i was ready to jam. When i plugged it in. It had a nice hum. Well grounded. As soon as i started to play i understood what everyone says about SS frets. It feels like butter. It looks like They will last way longer then the standards on my epiphone strat that i grinded down playing during the pandemic. The neck is nice and smooth, the ease to get to the last frets was also nice. Within a few minutes i was cranking out chords and it felt getting accustomed to it was going to be easy. Its worth the value, the humbuckers sound great and the tones have a good range. Hook this up to your current setup and you will get that deeper jazzy/blues sounds you expect, snap up to lead from rhythm and adjust the tone and now you get that higher twang similar to a tele: versatile, solid and a good weight. If you want an upgrade from the standard starter guitars, grab a latitude. Easy to bend and hammer/POs. ... show more

  • Good guitar at an attractive price
I was excited to get this guitar after some of the reviews I had seen on YouTube, and the reviews were right. This really is an excellent guitar, especially for the money. First, the feel of the guitar reminds me of my LTD EC-1000. The body thickness is very similar and makes for a comfortable guitar. Secondly, the features are very nice. The round-end frets are nice and seem to be level (I haven't had to work on any of them). The roller bridge is also a quality addition. Third, the pickups have a nice, vintage sound to them. I got this guitar for the purpose of modding it out with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups I already have, but if not for that, I probably wouldn't be in a hurry to change them. So why did I give it a 4 instead of 5? Well, first, I didn't get a gig bag or anything. I thought these came with one, but mine didn't. Second, the packaging could have been better. I had seen other examples from different purchasers, and they were packaged rather nicely. Mine was in a single box filled with well-shaped foam, but the tip of the headstock was barely covered. If the box had been dropped on that end, it would have damaged (if not broken) the headstock. They need to return to their old packaging. Lastly, I had to make a slight truss rod adjustment, but that's to be expected on a low-priced guitar like this. About a quarter turn to give some relief, and it was great. Pros: - price - very attractive guitar (can't find any flaws in the finish) - sounds great - nice features - tuners seem to hold well (though I'll probably replace them eventually with locking tuners) - your mileage may vary, but the intonation on mine was already set Cons: - you'll probably need to make some adjustments - packaging could be improved - no gig bag ... show more

  • the frets were all lifting off the edges of the fingerboard, the second one had warped neck
It was a beautiful guitar, nice in every other way, will all of the features I wanted. BUT ALL of the fret ends were lifting off on both sides. The second one I ordered had a warped neck. The body was excellently finished and nice to look at. It was lightweight and comfortable to hold. But right away, I knew something was wrong. The frets were catching my hand when I played. It literally hurt to play it. Looks like they used the wrong fret wire radius on the stainless steel frets. This is going to take a refret to fix it. I thought about superglueing it myself but the stainless steel frets might still spring back up. What a waste of such a nice guitar otherwise. But keep an eye out for it in Amazon warehouse if you are OK with refretting it. I'm going to guess all of these in this batch have the same issue. ... show more

  • Lots of fret buzz, not much tone.
Color: Sunburst
Sadly, this was unplayable when it arrived. Lots of fret buzz and, in my opinion, the pick-ups are bland. Had to return. Lattitude does make some other really good guitars.

  • Top quality at a incredible price
Color: Sunburst
Got this guitar back in May and I had to hold off on the review because the box had some terrible damage. Looks like someone stepped on the neck. Once opened, and after I inspected the guitar, I was pleased to see no damage at all. Fit and finish was top knotch. I had to give the truss a 1/4 turn, but that's for personal taste. It sounds good, electronics are very well done. I'd buy another without any concerns of factory defects. Very good stuff from Latitude. ... show more

  • Needed a setup to be playable
Color: Sunburst
This is my first fairly inexpensive guitar in quite a long time. Amazing what you can get for the money today. I bought this on a whim after seeing a few YT reviews and wanting to add a LP style guitar to my collection. Was packed well and no damage. After tuning it up, I had major fret buzz on five of six strings when fretting the 1st fret. After a little truss rod adjustment I got rid of it. Placing a straight edge on frets 1-3, the 2nd fret is higher than 1 or 3 so I guess a little filing would be the correct fix. Also, the three way PU switch was put in upside down so "treble" was neck PU and Rhythm was bridge. Some frets are rough but will smooth out. The finish is pretty good with some swirl marks but a quality polish could probably take those out. Overall a very playable guitar but if a beginner purchased it, they probably wouldn't know how to correct the few things my particular one came with without a setup or hooking up with a more experienced guitarist. ... show more
