Out of the 3 adapters, two of them had the audio constantly cutting in and out (my port was clean). The third one broke within 10 minutes of use. Image attached shows how the little adapter piece just... fell out of the socket. Super cheaply made. I ordered these so I could use my headphones in both my phone and laptop. They work great! Super small, just plug and use, and they even had little plastic pieces to protect the USB-C side. Definitely recommend.

    • Great but no mic pass through
These things are great and the price is amazing. They apparently have a much better DAC then the one in the Apple lightning adaptor. Much better sound and LOUDER. The lightning adaptor has a longer than normal lightning plug so this will probably work with every case out there. The only negative is there is no mic pass through so if the headphones you are using has a mic, it simple will not work. This means that Siri also does not work with rhis. On the phone it does not show up as headphones. It shows as a “ dock connector”. As long as you are just using these for headphones, the vale of these cannot be beat! ... show more

These simple device adapters allow you to connect wired headphones to iPads and iPhones. There are three in a packet and now I can keep one in the car. One in my briefcase and one in the bedside draw. I think this is good value for something that a few years ago was $35 each at an Apple Store.

UPDATE: Since posting my original review below, all of these have malfunctioned and either produce no sound or static. Terrible purchase. Super disappointed. _____ They generally do the job, and for the price it is fine.
