With previous AirPod pro cases I’ve used I have had the top cover fall off in my pocket, while attached to my backpack and while walking with it attached to my belt loop. This has never happened with the leather Speck case.

I've had this case before for the AirPods 1 back when I was rocking those. It is simple and elegant, I really like the design and I know from experience that it protects the AirPods case really well from impact and it's durable.

I’ve had this case over two years… pictures show this case brand new (right) and used for 2 years (left). Very subtle, nice patina. Never had a single issue with this case whatsoever. It’s very snug… once it’s on, it’s not coming off. Just make sure you’re aligning it carefully as you’re putting it on, and be prepared to use some force to get it all the way on. People here are complaining about alignment issues, to which I say “who cares”. People don’t purchase hand-made leather goods for it’s flawless stitching… they purchase it because it looks beautiful and each one is unique. I will be a forever return customer for as long as Native union is making leather cases for AirPods.

I prefer leather cases for my phone, kindle, even my MacBook has a leather sleeve. This is real leather and the fit feels a bit permanent. I think i would ruin it if I tried to take it off. It covers the lanyard slot and also the sound ports on the AirPods Pro v2 that were recently released. I always resist spending extra only to be nervous about quality. This one is excellent, very happy with it. I used to have a set of Sony headphones at the office and use the AirPods Pro for the gym and travel. These are coming to the office, the gym, everywhere and will be protected in style with this case.

I have bought several leather AirPods Pro leather cases here that are less known brand and the top caps for them seem to fit a little better than Native Union's leather case. This sage green leather is a gorgeous color though.

When I purchased my Airpods Pro, I started looking for a case that would not affect the magnetic closure, would not add bulk in my pocket, and would look and feel great in my hands. This case definitely fits the bill. There are many cases out there that depend on tape to keep the top cover on or even a connecting piece from the bottom part to make sure that the top piece doesn't fall off and get lost. This case really ultimately depends on a tight fit that won't get loose to keep the top part on, and I love it. I think by doing it this way, and really - kudo's to the designers and production people, because it really eliminates excess and added bulk to the piece. When closed, the case looks really good, as there are very minimal gaps from top to bottom pieces, and the fact that it is leather definitely helps with the feel of the piece. It looks premium and IS premium. The last criteria was that it wouldn't affect the magnetic closure, and I'm glad to say that it doesn't, and in fact, seems to help keep the case more shut than normal, perhaps it's an artifact of when the leather touches leather from the opposite side. Regardless, I feel more secure knowing that the case won't flip up unnecessarily. I've tried a couple of other cases, with a mix of materials, and I have to say, this is by far my favorite, even with the price premium. The axiom holds true for this case, you get what you pay for.

I am over all happy with this case however I feel it could be a tiny bit better with fit, there is a gap where you can see the case isn’t fully seated (this is around the entire lower shell by the charging port and on one of the corners the upper and lower shells touch)

You can see the top is ever so misaligned so it looks like it doesn't fully close. Also the sticking on the right is very obviously misaligned vs. the stitching on the left. The cutout for the charging indicator in the middle is spot on but generally disappointed by the rest. Color and durability is on point for that camel brown leather but at this price point these defects are pretty unacceptable. Worth getting another case.
