Went up well. Didn't have to remove the backing on the actual lights because it fit into the plastic track ok. And used the connections that fit the old connections.

Buyer beware, real quality control issues, they do stand by their warranty though. First set of lights was purchased in May of 2022. The control module failed within 24 hours. The module housing expanded, heat damage to the back cover. The company replaced the module 2 times after with the same results. None lasting more than 24 hours and same exact failure. I gave up at this point. Getting ready for our 2023 Halloween camping trip, I figured I would order a new set of lights and write it off as human error on my part. The 2nd set was ordered the second week of October 2023. I completely removed every component from the 1st set I ordered to do a full fresh install. Inspected all original components for cable damage or water intrusion and didn't find anything. When I installed the 2nd set of lights, I used a multi-meter to verify the correct polarity at the travel trailer wires. After 3 hours of run time, the light strip went from a dim white to a bright strobe light that I could not control via the handheld controller. I shut it off by the wall switch (porch light), to reset the module. Once again the module failed.

I previously posted a very negative review of this product. Was not working properly and was frustrated by lack of communication from the selling company. A few days after the negative review, I Did in fact hear from the company. They wanted to “make it right”. I appreciate them apologetically reaching out to me and offering a solution. They are sending me a new control unit ASAP to hopefully fix the problem. I’ve always thought that a company or business can’t help if a product fails. How they respond to the failure is indicative of a good company or less so. They stepped up . I appreciate that and recommend this company .

Just installed 4 kits on our new 2022 27' Airstream Flying Cloud. Looks awesome. The RF remote controls all 4 kits at once. I have 2 x 30' kits running from front hitch to entire length of the rig to right across the the rear bumper. Then 2x12' kits installed behind the rock guards. All separately fused switched power hookups into waterproof configuration inside the battery box. Alot of customization I can do with this setup and also can power down from the switches for added safety so don't draw any juice accidentally from the batteries. Helpful if dry camping/boondocking. Only issue I have which I emailed LatchIt about was the synchronization of the led controllers so timing and light color changes of the 4 kits are fluid and running together. No matter how I try to set the programming with the RF remote they always seem to go off timing. Hoping there is something that can be done to program all 4 so are running close enough that when you want color changing options they will all change same colors together. We will see if these stand the test of time and use. One thing I noticed is to be careful making tight bends with the led strip as they can easily damage and the strip will stop functioning/lighting after that point of the bend if you damage.

This is my second set of lights from this company. I installed these on the first trailer we had and it made for a fun time while playing games and was a lot brighter than the stock the lights. We are on our 2nd trailer and I took down the perfectly good working stock lights to install these. I like the fact that you set the light to any color and also has a dimmer option. Only con I have is it didn't come with enough adhesive tape.

I purchased 2 sets of these lights to use as under glow on my Travel Trailer. On our first camping trip, on the second night, one of the strings of lights would not turn off. It would just turn red instead of off. I disconnected it to turn it off. I contacted customer support and they determined it was the LED controller. They sent one out but I never received it. When they checked in, I let them know I did not receive it and they sent out another one. When I received the LED controller, I changed it out and that fixed my problem. I do not know about the longevity of the product itself but with the lifetime warranty and great customer support, I am not worried.

Ordered these lights primarily to have blues lights under awning. Did a fuse protected set up before installing to make sure they worked. The lights worked ok aside from the fact that the blue option on the remote produced no lights at all. Also the other colors on the remote did not match up to. Red worked ok but the other colors select on the remote did not produce the correct colors. I am doing a refund and ordering again. I will update my review once the new set arrives.
