  • Nice, BUT
I got this laser sight for my Glock 21, fit and finish is great, But The grip activation is why I give it 3 stars. it works as advertised when you grip it BUT if your holster get in the way the laser comes on, if your shirt gets in the way the laser comes on. I can not call this a true grip activation because you can turn it on without gripping it unlike my Armalaser grip activation sight that only comes on when your grip makes contact with the 2 leads under the trigger guard. Yes I did try to adjust the sensitivity on it and no that did not help. I kept the sight but turned off the grip activation. Nice try, keep working on it, you might get there. ... show more

  • sexy, easy to use
for me, the most sensitive level for the auto on was too sensitive, so I experimented and chose the least sensitive setting to activate the lgreen laser. it uses a wedge to affix to the gun rail. I wish it would use 2 metal screw bolts going side to side for a tighter attachment. I also wish the battery door rotated close more than just a little bit. I mean I wish it went half way around or screwed in a few rotations, but it has not fallen out and that's just my opinion. a little overpriced, but I did buy 2 each and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Great concept But Inconsistent
As a laser it mounted as it should and functions as a laser as it should. The grip sense is inconsistent. It is is only consistent, for me, with a 2-hand grip. When holding the gun (right handed) with one hand the laser sensor is intermittent. When I raise my right index finger or add my left hand to the grip the sensor is consistently activated. This would seem to indicate that its a distance issue for the sensor and its pick-up zone. The laser is mounted firmly against the trigger guard and this is mounted on a sub compact. I have not made any adjustments to the high, medium, low sensitivity settings. It is supposedly set to high as a factory setting. The battery cover does not give a positive feeling of closure. It only turns as far as the locking tab is wide and has no indent. It took me a minute to realize the cover was actually closed. would be better to have a bit more turn and a positive feeling of confirmation of closure. ... show more

  • Great, well priced laser!
Very easy to install, very bright beam. Love how easy it is to change settings. Worked perfectly with the sensor activation, but it may be a problem when in a holster, although it has the 10 minute shut off feature. I installed it first on a Hellcat, picture attached, so for those that asked, YES, it can be installed and works fine, however I chose to replace it with Viridian E Series, made specifically for the Hellcat (no sensor available on that one though) because I wanted to keep it as small as possible. I then installed the Lasermax Gripsense laser on a Glock 17, where it fits perfectly as well. I took it to the range and shout 85 rounds with it and kept zero perfectly. Great, well prices laser!!! ... show more

  • Not deigned well
This laser would be great if the on/off/setting buttons were recessed. However, after installing it on my Walther CCP M2, any attempt to holster it will push in the control buttons and change the setting. I learned the hard way. I put it on the grip sensing setting, holstered it and 5 hours later my new batteries were completely dead as just sliding it into the holster, the control buttons were pushed, and the setting was changed to continuous use. Poor Design. ... show more

  • What's not to like
this laser was easy to install and I really like the proximity activation. I wish my sig p226 laser grip had this instead of the front activation switch. even if you prefer not to rely on the laser it is an invaluable training tool. you may think you have a steady hold and good trigger control but the laser will disabuse you of those thoughts in short order. ... show more

  • Battery cover sucks
Battery cover sucks. Thing popped off twice at the range before I gave up on it and I only shot 30 rounds with it... Need at least a 1/8 locking turn. 1/4 turn would be even better. Returned it.
