This is a fun kit. You can throw it on any compatible item of choice and quickly / easily set an approximate target area at a precise distance. You can’t actually adjust the x/y axis much before they start to adjust into a circle pattern. Between the way it mounts to the barrel and the amount of slop in the system while the main unit can be rotated I think it would take a lot of fiddling to make this accurate-ish at multiple distances. This falls within my range of expectations of toy-ish quality. I haven’t tried the recharger yet but am super glad I shouldn’t need to order specialty batteries. I assume it works. Pretty budget looking item but whatever. They include several pieces of double sided tape that seems to hold well enough for me so far on my Daisy barrel. This allows for all sorts of trick shooting without big misses. For some (supervised as appropriate) plinking entertainment this is great. I was’t looking for one of these so I don’t know what should be expected or what others may include or not. I did feel this met my overall quality expectation, but I’m generally just satisfied when something like this works well enough to be usable. The last time I could shoot an air gun from the hip and be on-target I was probably 14 years old and practicing nonstop, so, I mean, that’s fun. I did try a version of this type of thing years ago that was more like $10 and it was 100% useless, so I’m glad I was willing to try this one. The mount seems fine and adjusting laser position is quick, but slow enough, and smooth I’ve just had this sighted to a couple centimeters at about 15ft so far, but after I go through using the vise and plum-bob this will be my short range plinking guide when I’m too close to get good focus through my 3-9x40 scope.

Theres no gun to shoot out of just attachments i searched salt gun and most pictures in this item had the gun with it these pieces are useless to me without it I would not have bought it without the main piece

This red dot laser was designed for low impact service like a bug salt gun. The laser can be operated from a switch on the back or it can be swapped out for a switch with a cable that can be mounted closer to your hand. The cable set up has two functions, one to turn the light off or on and another that is on only while be held down. This flexibility is a nice touch. The mounting part was the biggest complaint I have because it can take a little work to make sure the two halves line up straight to make sure the laser points straight. Based on this the accuracy is okay for close things, but you're not going to be making any 30 yard shots with it.

I got this to help cite one of my air rifles. I had to use a different length bolt but the clap mouthpieces still fit the same period and held the laser in place as well. The laser is high-quality and highly durable. Has taken many drops and falls in a short time and has yet to give out. The adapter for having the push button is a nice touch so that you can tap and hold to keep it on and then let go to turn it off. This helps save battery life. The battery is also rechargeable which is an additional nice touch. Overall, I would highly recommend, especially for the price and the additional accessories that you get with it. extremely easy to install and highly versatile.
