I bought this range finder for use on the golf course after I lost my Bushnell. This is a very good value and only about a third of the cost of the Bushnell. I’ve only used it four times and when I figured out now to use the jolt lock feature, it’s been great. It acquires the target quickly and seems accurate. I hope it continues to work as well as it does now. It was delivered promptly and was well packaged with instructions how to use the different feature. I like that it’s magnetic and sticks to the cart frame or steering column instead of taking up space in a cup holder.

I was ready to upgrade my 8 years old V3 bushnell range finder so I could have a better one with the slope technology. I did all my research on amazon, golf galaxy, and dicks sporting goods. I was literally about to buy the bushnell V4 patriot edition with slope technology until I stumbled on a $135 (with tax) laser range finder with slope technology that has a magnet to stick to the metal frame of the golf cart so u don’t lose it. Let’s just say I am so darn HAPPY!!!! The upside range finder is AMAZING!!! Has the jolt when it locks on to the target, clear/precise in the camera lens, and the side magnet is super strong and makes life on the course so much easier! I’m done having to look for my range finder after almost every single shot. It’s not in the front of the cart, it didn’t slide to the bottom of the cart, it dose and fall in between the back of the two cart bags anymore. It’s literally right there in front of your face on the side metal bar. It’s almost impossible to lose! In fact, I purchased the golf cart buddy for your range finder which was good until it broke with my old range finder. Won’t have that problem anymore. Also, my golf buddies have the new bushnell and liepold range finders. This one is better. It’s not sexy looking but it’s perfect! Remember, it is black and blends in with the metal black bar in the golf cart frame, so always make sure when you hit your 2nd shot on the 18th hole to put it in your carrying case so u won’t forget it. Thank you for making my life easier on the course!

I might have written below review too early. I complained to Upside and they are sending me a replacement. The story continues. Great Customer Service, now I will let you know if the replacement works properly. "Waste of Money. I wrote a previous review, but after using this for a month, it is a waste of money. My time to return has passed. It does not work - cannot come on without effort. The battery is hard to change. I could go on and on. The previous review read: I lost my previous range finder and bought this one because it had the same features and was $60 cheaper. I found out it is harder to get an accurate reading on the flag with this than the more expensive model. If you shoot with this, you get two or three readings before you can decide which is accurate. you get what you pay for."

If you are looking for a top of the line rangefinder, this is the one for you. It is incredibly accurate and very easy to use. I have always had a hard time keeping other rangefinders steady when trying to get distances, but the Upside rangefinder they make it easy to get an accurate read every time. And it vibrates once it locks on to the target to confirm it got the distance. This rangefinder also has Slope mode that you can turn on and off. This is typically a feature in very expensive rangefinders but the Upside finder has it built in. Makes trusting uphill and downhill distances very easy and my game has improved because of the confidence this rangefinder gives me knowing the correct distances from anywhere on the course. For me, the coolest feature is the built in magnet. The magnet is incredibly strong and secures perfectly to the side of the golf cart. This makes it very easy to pull up to your ball, pull the rangefinder off the cart and get the distance quickly. I cannot stress how strong the magnet is. It will not come loose from metal that it is attached to while driving. Overall this product is an easy 5 out of 5 stars and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a top of the line rangefinder at an amazing price. I will be recommending this to all of my golfing friends! Thanks Upside for making the game more enjoyable!

The media could not be loaded. I have never owned a range finder. Never seen understood why with all the free apps out there. However I bought one anyway because it like gadgets. This one is very easy to use. Only two buttons. And apparently the slope thing is a very big deal. I tried both with and without it on and man it really works well. My course is fairly flat. But the few greens with up hill or down hill slopes it changed alot more then I thought it would. I'm not rory what's his dude but today I added a new tool to my bag and by God it held on to the golf cart for dear life. Strong lil magnet. It'll hold on through a day of driving and drinking no problem. Ill say this, I probably saved two or three long puts for a triple bogey today by using ng this range from under and on the wholes I put a decent drive and fairway shot together I felt more confident in my approach shot then ever before. Long story a lil less long I'll be keeping it and will most definitely get better and more confident in my game because of this lil device. Worth the money for my crummy game that's for sure!
