*** Review *** At 5'9" and 165 lbs, I comfortably ride the "Skate-X Pro" scooter several miles per on day instead of my car for the last few weeks. I go to the grocery store (hook included on stem of handlebar), meet my mother in-law for breakfast at her assisted living facility or zip up to the pickle-ball courts or pool ... not necessarily in that order. For me, the Skate-X Pro is the way to go - quick to 22 mph (versus only 15 mph for the X-One) , 10 inch air tires, hand-lever rear drum brake, blinkers, etc. Only $100 more than the the less feature-rich Skate-X One. "X Pro" is an incredible bargain and a surprisingly nice quality scooter at $350. Appears like it will last - time will tell. Very comfortable ride and easy to balance. Handle bars are 40" above deck. The deck very comfortable, a wee-bit wider than most and generously coated with a clear grip material - nearly impossible to lose grip leaning into 22 mph corners. 2 speed settings "medium" and "fast" with infinitely variable speed thumb throttle lever. In addition to the X-Pro's hand-lever rear drum brake, both models have a traditional rear fender brake and it is by far the fastest braking method. Very convenient having both a hand-lever and traditional rear fender brake - slows down very quickly if needed; especially from 22 mph. Scooter design appears more elegant than various copy-cat chinese design- IMO. In addition, it has good weight to max speed ratio 30 lbs / 22 mph. 10 inch air tires with angled valve stems make it easy to air up to 36 lb (max cold - specified on sidewall of tire) Some people appear to complain about scratches on the L.E.D. display. Genius-hint ... remove the protective plastic layer. Best of all, it is incredibly manageable at a total weight of 30+ lbs. Far more convenient than my 70 lb. electric bicycle. Easy to throw and stow in any car, place in my grocery cart so I don't have to lock it up or store anywhere in an apt or condo etc. Most importantly - incredibly fun to ride. *** Cons *** None. **** Summary *** The Skate-X Pro is a very well designed scooter at an incredibly attractive price point. ... show more

First one came in damaged, but they replaced it quickly. Pros..Pretty easy to put together, solid frame, nice oversized wood deck and decent battery life. Cons.. Definitely not a top of the line scooter.. too much cheap plastic. The light switches and the throttle will definitely break with any hard use. If you need any service contact Bustin Boards.. LaScoota is worthless. Overall… it’s a good scooter for one summer season. I expect it to break by Labor Day. Performance is good, Speed is good, Battery seems fine but the devil is in the details. Great for 349.00, but I wouldn’t pay more for it. ... show more

Great scooter fast and strong only problem is already the throttle sticks and I almost crashed 😭 just got it yesterday don't know how to fix the throttle from sticking and suggestions please help other than that great 🛴 just dangerous for a rider if throttle sticks

After the scooter arrived, and I got home from work, I took it upstairs to unbox it. I first and foremost started reading the instruction manual, and despite a grand amount grammatical errors, there were a few things stated in the manual about what NOT to do that wasn't stated on the Amazon page. Like don't accelerate over uneven ground, or don't ride in the rain or over puddles... I live in Washington, I need to be able to do those things with ease. I kept it in the box in order to return with ease instead. I was excited for it, and I'm sure it's a marvelous scooter in places where it doesn't rain constantly, but it's probably best if I save up for something that can handle such things. ... show more

    • Overall great!! just a couple items to note...

1. Scooter is great!! rides smoothly and predictably. FUN RIDE!! especially for the $. I do have a couple issues with this scooter although 1. pictures showed hand brakes, but the actual brake is electronic, not a big deal but I spent about 5 mins looking for hand brake the wasn't there and time looking at multiple pics to see if hand brake was pictured and it was... 2. no assembly instructions, had to figure out from pictures and on my own 3. kickstand fell off due to an incredibly thin piece of metal holding it in place, glad it fell off while I was stopped, rather than when riding and possibly losing it!! really was fun riding it although 2. Upon further review... really like the scooter! the ride is smooth and the scooter is sturdy! Quite fun to ride!! but there are a couple of issues I would like to address 1. assembly instructions would be helpful, so if the customer has any questions maybe they could be answered by the instructions (assembly was pretty straight forward), questions for example, like where is the missing hand brake displayed in site pics (see item #2), also, what is the recommended PSI for tires??? 2. multiple pics and videos on the Amazon buying/description page showed scooter with hand brake, even after I opened box i was looking for a hand brake that was not there, i thought i had a part missing until I read user manual closer and realized the brake is electronic, was a little confusing. 3. THE KICKSTAND FELL OFF!! the kickstand was fastened to an extremely thin piece of metal and the stand just fell off after the 1st time I rode it, thankfully it didnt fall off while I was riding it!! So now I am going to have to invent a way to keep kickstand fastened??? I really hope there are no more surprises. Overall, I really enjoy the scooter... ... show more
