I bought this water bottle because I've made a commitment to only own things that I personally find beautiful, and my previous purifying water bottle -- bought before a trip to India years ago -- was very "dirty backpacker." Anyway, box ticked! I went with the Granite White because I'm as basic as they come and still living under the influence of early 2000's Apple products, and a few months later, I still get a kick out of seeing it sitting on my desk. It's just a pretty little thing. As for its purifying and insulating qualities...I mean, sure. It certainly seems to keep cold things cold for _way_ longer than I would have expected, and the pulsing blue light when it decides to purify my already purified water is again _very_ visually appealing, so I have no complaints. But for full transparency, I'm writing this in the midst of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, so it's not as if I've had a chance to really take it through its paces. It seems to do what it says on the box. What I didn't expect was the weight. It's a weighty object, even when empty, and while I suppose I should have expected that given its insulating claims, I was still surprised. On the one hand, the heft makes it seem like more of a permanent and durable addition to my possessions, but as someone who enjoys traveling and likes to keep things as light as possible, it does make me wonder if it will ultimately be left at home more often than not. For day to day mucking about, it's just fine. It's a water bottle! A beautiful one. If that appeals to you, you won't be disappointed.

I own two LARQ bottles that are identical except for the color, and I've been using them for about a month. While in general I am satisfied with my purchase, there is a specific area where this product fails me that virtually any other semi-premium insulated bottle succeeds: durability. First, the UV sterilization is great. If you follow the instructions (specifically the part that says to give the bottle a shake when sterilizing), it does eliminate odor-causing bacteria. If you do not shake the bottle periodically during cleaning, bacteria will still accumulate around the inner-neck area during normal use. At first I thought this was a product defect, but then I read the instructions. I have since many times shaken a smelly bottle while cleaning and verified that the smell was completely gone afterward. So, while this bottle does "self-sterilize," it doesn't do a thorough job without help. I can't imagine a bottle that would not have this problem, so it wasn't a dealbreaker. What might be a dealbreaker for some, though, and the reason for my 3-star review is that the bottle is not durable at all. I have hardwood floors, and after the bottle rolled off my bed once onto the floor, both the cap and the base of the bottle were visibly impacted. The dent at the bottom of the bottle affected the stability bad enough to make me decide to fix it with Sugru; it would now wobble without it. This was after two weeks of use, mind you. Given the premium price of this item, there is no excuse for not reinforcing both the cap and the base with a material that is fall-proof. My S'well bottles have endured countless falls without more than scratch. As such, it's hard for me to recommend this to anyone who is clumsy (and I'm not!) over, say, a S'well bottle and a cheaper UV sterilizing cap. But if you like a nice looking bottle and you are careful, you'll probably be pretty happy with this.

I love my Larq bottle! Very comfortable to drink off of it and it feels good on the lips because the edge is thin and delicate. The texture of the bottle allows for a good grip. Stays cold for hours even if left in a hot vehicle. And it disinfects the water... excellent product!

i got this on sale for $76, its normally like $92. the product is sleek and keeps stored liquid cold fairly well and despite the comments below i do like the overall product. although i like the product visually, its not the most durable. dropped it once from a short height and it dented fairly easily. i would also say its fairly overpriced for being just a metal bottle with a UV led set on timer....but lets be honest i knew that when i was buying it. despite liking the item, this is basically like buying a designer water bottle minus having brand recognition

works just like advertised. It is easy to use and keeps my water cold. For those that use refillable water bottles especially from public water sources, this is the perfect way to make sure you water is not harboring any pathogens; particularly nice with the COVID issues. I do wish for the price it was a little larger in capacity though. Battery lasts at least a month and having dropped it once; it is durable!
