I LOVE this backpack! The color is a perfect light cream, way cuter than other travel backpacks. I spent a week in Spain on my own and this backpack truly fit everything I need when I couldn’t bring my suitcase, and the padding and support on the back and the straps made it so comfortable to carry, despite how full it was. The way the backpack is structured distributes the weight evenly and does not cause strain at all. The many compartments makes it so easy to keep things organized and allows you to fit more things just when you think it’s full. I kept my clothes rolled up in the main compartment, my toiletries in the waterproof front compartment, and laptop and kindle in the back. The bottom compartment was perfect for all my cables. The only thing I would change is the portable charger pocket, it is slightly too small to fit bigger battery packs. It held up well despite all the roughage it went through on the trip and the material is super easy to clean. Bonus, I moved into a third floor apartment with no stairs and I now use this to carry things up because of how comfortable the backpack is!

I got this in the large size in black for a work trip. First, it's pretty functional and I do really like all of the pockets and how easy it is to pack it. It's very rectangular...and it feels like you're wearing a rectangle. But it's very easy to pack because it's so rectangular. The laptop sleeve is deep and very well padded and protected. However, the bag became very heavy very fast, and if you have a laptop in the back sleeve compartment, be prepared to walk very upright like you have a board strapped to your back...because you do. Also, the hidden back pocket is basically inaccessible once you put a laptop into the laptop compartment and especially if there is no give elsewhere in the body of the bag. Usually I like to travel carryon only as much as possible, so I'll have a rolling bag as my carry on and a separate bag for my personal item, both as large as possible to maximize carryon capacity. I'll gate check the rolling bag if they ask for volunteers. This backpack was intended to be my personal item on a recent trip I took with about 6 flights, all domestic, ranging from 2-10 hours per flight. It was a relief when I was able to put it on my rolling bag. On my first flight out with this bag, it was really crowded and they needed people to gate check, so I gate checked my rolling bag. It was a good thing I did, because I didn't realize that with this backpack packed to full capacity, it would no longer fit under the seat in front of me. By full capacity I mean that it was full--zippers not bulging but still needed to stuff to get things into each compartment. I thought it would be OK with the compression straps, but it wasn't. I had to put it in the overhead bin and I felt so guilty about that, but it just wasn't going to fit. I was able to put it under the seat on my other legs as long as I didn't stuff it to capacity, and I made sure to take care with packing for the rest of my flights on that trip (although I still ended up gate checking my rolling bag because all of my flights were just that full...welcome to post-pandemic domestic travel, I guess). It's just a little bit too easy to overpack; you mostly need to be careful with not putting too much into the front pocket, and no more than one layer clothing or the equivalent in the main body. You should still be able to compress down; if the compression straps don't need to be tightened then you've got too much inside. Otherwise, this bag was fine for the trip but more awkward and uncomfortable than I anticipated. I think it was an OK purchase overall. It came back looking like it was still brand new. The zippers all still work and the clips are all still perfect. I liked the water bottle pocket. I didn't try to use the USB charging setup and honestly I don't really see myself having a use for it and would prefer it just wasn't there. Be very careful to not overpack if using this as your personal item. Otherwise, it was OK. You could spend your money on worse bags.

This backpack is amazing. I flew Frontier and that should tell you right there how great this backpack is. Frontier only allows a free “personal item”, 14 x 18. They charge for carry-ons bigger than those dimensions. I went on a two day trip and this backpack was perfect. Not only did it meet the measurements for a free personal item with frontier. It also fit everything I needed, Which included two outfits, a pair of shoes, toiletries, and other miscellaneous items. I ended up buying two more for family members. This backpack is a must. Especially if you’re flying cheap airlines that want to charge you $64 or more for larger backpacks and bags.

The quality seems decent. Color is very nice. Well-padded laptop pouch. I purchased the large (LL) backpack in jewel blue. I purchased to use it as a personal item for a three-day trip on Spirit airlines. I did not expand it, and yet it barely fit under the seat-- in fact, only half of it did. I would not advertise this as personal-item-sized as the description claims ("The air backpack can be placed under plane seat"), as it is definitely more so the size of a carry on. As a carry on, I feel like it is not worth is, as it gets very heavy very quickly on your back, so you would be better off purchasing a rolling carry-on for similar prices. If you plan on using it as a personal item, do not expand it and do not fill it to the point you would need to compress it using the straps, otherwise it will not fit under the seat in front of you (on a budget airline, at least). 4-stars because the quality was good.

I ordered this and two other similar backpacks before a recent trip to see which one I liked the most. Feature wise, this one was by far my favorite with the way it opens and the pocket options. It was also by far the best quality, feels very well made. That being said, I ended up going with one of the other backpacks because the is one is SO HEAVY without absolutely anything in it. If it’s that heavy without anything, I couldn’t imagine how heavy it would be to wear around when it’s filled for travel.
