    • Tons of pockets and little compartments! Durable and reliable.

TL;DR: Lots of pockets, durable, cute colors. Overall a good buy! It also survived a round in my washing machine so, bonus points for that. I took some time to use this bag for a couple of months before writing any kind of review and it has passed what I considered enough trials and tribulations. There are a plethora of pockets to help organize your belongings and to facilitate access; there's even a "waterproof" one that helps provide peace of mind in the event you're worried something will leak. There's a "secret" pocket on the backside for important things you don't want people accessing easily. The only pockets I really have qualms with is the "shoe" compartment at the bottom, since it doesn't really provide extra space. It uses the same internal space as everything in the bag since the pocket juts inward rather than outward. And the second one is the water bottle pocket, because it doesn't expand very much and it's a bit shallow but it fits 16 oz water bottles nicely. A little more wary about 24 oz bottles. There exists an attachment on the bag where you can attach a cable to the inside of your bag and run it to the outside to help you charge your device on the go. They've included a USB-A to USB-A cable, but as I said, it can be unhooked and replaced with whichever type of cable you need. This bag also has buckles to help keep all your stuff compact and from jostling around. This is a great, durable bag that has weathered carrying ALL of my belongings (clothes, toiletries, souvenirs, etc) for a 6 day trip to Hawaii and also survived being lugged around and stuffed after a week long excursion to Italy for the same purpose, in addition to other smaller trips I've taken. ... show more

After a lot of searching of Amazon reviews for travel backpacks in this price and size range, I chose this one. It came last night and I am still exploring all the features, but it looks like they thought of everything one might want when traveling with this backpack. One large and one small full-length compartment ( the larger one with zip and slip pockets, and a separate compartment accessible from the bottom to store shoes, dirty clothes etc so they are separate from the rest of the things in that compartment) two zip pockets on front and anti-theft packet on back; feature for attaching and storing a power bank and a cord for plugging in your phone; adjustable padded straps) The fabric looks sturdy (I chose the light gray color and it is true to what was pictured) and there are no problems with poorly sewn seams, etc. It is very roomy for its size (I am only 5 feet tall so did not want anything too big). The main compartment zips fully on three sides so it lays out flat like a suitcase when you are packing and unpacking (this was a "must-have" feature for me) I plan to take it on a flight for a weekend trip in a few weeks and I don't think I am going to need any other baggage, It came a little crushed and wrinkled in the package but seems to be settling out. This came with me on a 3+ week international travel stint and I will not travel again without it. The zippered sections were just right, and the zippers line up to be able to use TSA/travel locks. the straps are very, very comfortable, and the bag is sturdy and durable yet soft and comfy to wear for extended periods. I loved the color, almost periwinkle, but if I were to buy this bag again I'd get a darker color to better withstand the inevitable dirt/marks from air/car/bus travel. This bag kept clothes, a blanket, money, electronics, and everything dry in rainy Ireland, snowy Germany, and a few downpours in Italy. There is a strap on the back that was perfect for the handle of my wheeled carry-on, and the weight distribution was such that the entire set-up didn't tip over. I used to travel with a standard Jansport backpack, but once it was full of clothes and toiletries, it was a tight squeeze to fit into the airport measuring box for carryon. Sometimes I’d have take things out or rearrange. It wasn’t conducive for the size of the measuring box. This backpack though fits like a glove! I jammed the main compartment full and fastened the straps… it slides right into the carryon box. If you bulge the outer pocket you may have to remove things, but just that main compartment stuffed full will work.
