I use this backpack for day hikes. It fits my bear spray on one side and my water bottle on the other in the mesh pockets. I can fit my emergency/med kit with room for spare layers in the main pocket. I tend to shove my outer layers into the bag about 15 minutes into a hike. I like the plastic pocket for wet clothing. The front pocket is a convenient place for snacks or anything else that you don't want to dig around for. There's a small pocket inside the front pocket that I wish had a zipper, but I use it to carry ID and a little cash if I think I'll want to stop and grab some food on my way home (usually if I'm going with friends). Overall it is a lightweight, comfortable, affordable daypack that does what I need it to. It's nothing fancy, but it's held up and it looks nice. No complaints after 6 hikes with it. The little whistle on the front is nice too. I've never needed to use it, but it's nice to know it's there in easy reach if I ever got into a bad spot. ... show more

Brought it on a hiking trip to the PNW and used it for my carry on bag. Pretty large storage capacity, it’s super lightweight, rolls up tiny for slim packing, and is actually comfortable on my shoulders! I appreciate the chest strap, but do wish it had a waist strap. Pros-Bag was great as a carry on and used for hiking. Held alot of stuff and enough pockets for what was needed. Chest clip was helpful. It did hold well with the snowshoes and poles when I clipped it in. Folds great into a small bag as shown. Cons- wish it had a waterproof cover with it, all my stuff in the bottom got wet when i fell in snow. I know it has a waterproof section but some bags have waterproof covers to wrap over it. I can't say how good this bag is. I bought this bag for grocery runs on a scooter. Although the bag itself is thin and doesn't have much padding, this bag has lasted me over a year and a half and I continue to keep finding uses for it. I used it to travel to Atlanta and switched into it to avoid looking like a tourist. I now use it for travel, package running and returns, carrying bulky items and groceries. I used this on my trip to Yellowstone. It holds a lot and I like all the different compartments. This way I can keep snacks handy in one area to grab. I hiked once in the rain and this bag is good in the rain because it is like a windbreaker material. I was also able to clip my water bottle to it. It has a little whistle but it's not very loud. This is a great lightweight backpack that holds quite a bit of items. It also has a bunch of pockets and side loops for hanging your water bottles or whatever. It has a large waterproof pocket which of course is very nice to have if you went swimming and change clothes. Maybe you have a liquid to carry and the pocket is nice in the event of leakage.
