Did a lot of searching for a good crossbody bag with anti-theft features before settling on this one. It worked very well for an international trip which included train travel, busy tourist spots and multiple cities. I didn’t test out the anti-slash (which would naturally require ruining the bag) but it felt sturdy. The zipper lock could be a bit cumbersome to undo but that is I believe the point. I especially liked the pocket that sits closest to the body as it wasn’t easily accessible (or pick-pocket attractive) but fairly easy to access. It easily fit a water bottle and/or small umbrella, epi-pen, passport in the main pocket with a credit card or cash in “hidden” pocket and a phone in the “outside” pocket. It was comfortable to wear either as a forward facing or backpack style. I went with the off-white which is something in the pale grey to off-white range of colors.

It's fine for just packing your wallet, credit cards phone, ear buds, passport, etc. They need to use a clip (like their other bigger sling bags) on that outer front flap... the magnetic thing is hokey. Size will work well for me for our upcoming UK trip.

I suppose all sling-type bags involve trade-offs. This Waterfly really worked for me, but there are issues that may make it less appealing for some buyers. 1. As other reviewers have commented, the front snap is prone to pop open. But I've found that only happens when the bag is overloaded. Most of the time mine didn't open, even though it was holding a phone, an 8 inch tablet, a wallet, and two pairs of glasses (with room to spare). If you are planning to carry much more than that, you could always try the larger size Waterfly. 2. The shoulder strap has minimal padding. But with a bag this small I didn't find that a problem. Plus I imagine that in warmer weather, it will be a relief not to have some bulky strap over my shoulder. 3. There is no padding in the back of the bag. Could be a turnoff for some users, but on me the bag barely touches my back when I'm carrying it. What's more, the bag fabric is durable and comfortable, the zippers work very well, and the handy locking mechanism on the main zipper and the lower strap loop are things you rarely find on sling bags. So overall I'm very pleased.

Love the size! Am able to fit my book, phone, 20oz soda, wallet and keys in it. Love the hidden back pocket and the security of not only the locking zipper but also the velcro that you would definitely hear if someone was to try to open it. Good quality and very light weight and comfortable to carry, able to switch the strap to either side as well.
