I got perfect boxes! They were brand new and in great condition. The tape doesn't seem too strong but it does the job. I bought extra tape just in case. Size: I understand why people were not happy with the size of the medium boxes as a former UHaul user. However, these are more manageable and still "medium" in comparison to the small and large boxes and much more affordable. I was moving a one bedroom apartment and I used all the boxes. If you are moving a two bedroom apartment, I would recommend you purchase two of these orders. I packed up a whole kitchen, office, bedroom, bathroom, and had boxes left over for a garage sale. The only thing that I didn’t like was the tape that it came with it was very flimsy and kept ripping halfway. I had to purchase tape separately in order to tape up my boxes. ... show more

These are very small. I think the company downsized their boxes. I have an old medium box from them several years ago and the new ones that came are just a tiny bit bigger than their old small boxes. Still nice and sturdy, but not the size they used to be.

The boxes are heavy duty, sturdy, and good quality which I wanted, but as pictured the box sitting next to it is a Home Depot medium box which is what I’m used to. The Amazon medium box is much closer to a small size box for Home Depot. The other picture is an Amazon large box which is nearly comparable (not equivalent) to the Home Depot medium. The Amazon large is slightly bigger than the Home Depot box but not by much. I wanted the size of Home Depot medium that was also heavy duty.
