It's a fantastic work mat. Easy to clean up, stays in place fairly well, and the compartments and magnets are nice for keeping things where I want them. It also protects my wooden work bench when I'm working on stuff that would otherwise gouge it up. It did take some time in the hot garage with a heavy box on top of it to go completely flat.

The mat arrived rolled up, and it relaxed very quickly after being laid flat. It's quite thick, and the magnets are placed perfectly for right-handed users. The bit and tool holes are useful. It's on a work table where I planned to use it for more than gun cleaning, especially with camera bodies and lenses. I have to re-think that use because the mat retains stains from the gun cleaning process. I tried to clean it with water, then Windex, but neither worked. Next was an orange oil product that removed 99% of the marks, but now the mat has some waviness/stretching in the surface where the orange oil was heaviest. I'd deduct half a star for the staining, but that rounds up to a 5-star rating I gave it. Black would have been a better color choice for my needs.
