These 'Bulletin Boards' were quite easy to mount, especially since they are mounted with Velcro strips being put on the surface and then the felt is pushed onto the Velcro. I have installed them on a door that is directly behind my chair in my classroom. I imagine in a couple of years I may need to augment the amount of Velcro since it is on a door (although not often used, and when it is used it is gently opened and closed). One thing that I found interesting is that the board was better able to hold staples rather than push pins (thumbtacks). It is easy to remove the staples too. I use a staple remover that slides under the staple and pulls it away from the surface (it is wedge shaped). I really like the look of it, and it helps remove some of the echo in the room too! One advantage of this over the cork is that it never shows where the hole was from the staple or thumbtack. Lastly, they are thick enough to accept a full tack or staple without passing through into the surface below. I do recommend these. [as long as you are not looking for cork]

My daughter has been looking for something like this for a while. It was very easy to hang on the wall. Each piece individually sticks to the wall. Even after cleaning the wall, there is one tile that refuses to stick to the wall. I will try looking for something else to use to keep it up there. All of the others are holding great!

When they built our new school, one of the requested furniture items that never arrived was bulletin boards for above the teacher desks. After 2 years of using masking tape to put up notices and pictures, I finally decided to stop waiting for the promised bulletin board. (I've actually picked up about 6 packs of various brands to meet needs at both of my band rooms--2 schools). I like the design of this board--the smaller inset squares inside the larger pattern makes for a bit more interesting of a "backsplash" behind my desk. They trimmed easily around obstructions with some heavy-duty scissors--similar to what I've used for carpet tiles. They are sticking well, and hold thumbtacks well. (Excuse the mess on the desk in the picture--that's why I needed bulletin boards!)

I hung this up work removable velcro strips...I needed a way for my kids to hang up their artworks without putting holes in the wall or buying a ton of frames. The fridge is running out of room too. This went up over the desk in their room. I think this is going to be great to have as they get bigger and the use for it changes with them.

Easy to install and straightforward to apply on a clean, flat wall. True to size: 11.8" x 11.8" and 0.35" thick, with quite dense felt and two strips of tape on each panel. However, it is not 3M tape, so I am a little worried about its stickiness over time, and not sure when I need to remove it if it would be as easy as 3M. The small grids add a stylish touch. It arrives with a small box of pins.

Ordered this corkboard replacement for a board that was on its last leg. This corkboard replacement is exactly what I was looking for to get away from the drab appearance of regular corkboard. This corkboard is very easy to install with the double sided tape. Also you can mount the panels anyway you'd like. I thought about getting two different colors and doing a checkerboard pattern. Tacks stick in this board very nicely. Overall, a great choice in corkboard.
