Bought specifically for the rubber soles. I love boots on the motorcycle, but slippery leather soles are just terrible when you're in a parking lot. Wore them the past couple weeks and absolutely loved having traction! Color was great. Nice grey, not shiny silver.. Fit was pretty good. I always get 10's, but these seemed just a bit loose. A little more movement than I'd like. Pretty close for online without trying them on. Not sure if a half size down would be be perfect or if it would overshoot. I'll probably just get them wet and let them settle on my feet. (They're going to get wet anyway!) ... show more

I was a little nervous ordering boots living in S. Florida. I always thought they might be too hot for the weather and I always remembered my old boots (30 years ago) used to be pretty heavy to walk around in. I found these boots to be a perfect pair of boots to get started wearing here in Florida. They are very comfortable to wear and to walk around in and they also look great and I get plenty of compliments on them. In addition, they are airy enough up top to not be too hot in the S. Florida heat, but they are still boots so they are not sandals in the warm weather. seen lots of reviews complaining about color of boots. i have no problem whatsoever. they fit and look fine. not a solid dress boot gray if that's what you're looking for. not really a distressed look, but a worn look. i happen to love the look.

grey color came off in places right away reveling brown boot would not accept grey polish they look terrible laredo boots i have multi pairs good quality and fit if you want grey don't get these
