I have another pair of Larado boots so I ordered the same size. I wear western boots with my suits to church. I needed a black pair and these fit the bill. I received a lot of positive comments on these boots just as I have with my black cherry pair. Most of my suits are blue, grey or charcoal. These boots look absolutely great. The only negative is the synthetic shaft. I just wish there was more shine to them. The polished up good but not as well as I would have liked and the finish was a little incomsistent. I think those problems are temporary and will be corrected over time and more polish. If you are looking for a great boot and want a lot of compliments, get these. I highly recommend. ... show more

I like these boots. They are a nice pair of boots for a reasonable price. Are they the nicest boots I've ever owned? No. But I don't wear them everyday for comfort, and I don't expect them to hold up for 5+ years. Buy these if you want a sharp looking pair of boots that you can wear from time to time to look nice. Two minor problems I see with these boots though (reasons why I didn't give a 5 star rating...), the insole could be a little more comfortable, and I wish they offered a size in between regular width D, and extra wide 3E. I needed something a long the lines of a regular wide width 2E, but they don't offer that size with these boots. Because of that, they're a little narrow. That being said, I'm still happy with them because hopefully, they'll eventually break in, and they were priced right. ... show more

I bought these boots for my husband at Christmas. At first I hesitated because he's very hard to please when it comes to boots. He wants the western style without the 'yee-haw' if you know what I mean. He's beyond the 'I want to be a cowboy' but he likes the look of western craftsmanship, style and the quality is beyond compare. He loves the comfort and the shine. He's so proud of these boots that he takes a little longer to get dressed...at least ten minutes to examine his new treasure! ... show more
