Exactly as described. I was looking for a new backpack that would carry my laptop, a 32 oz water bottle, books, and a few things for a four-yr-old. Great as a mom bag and a university staff bag. It has so much room and so many pockets. It's really sturdy and the color is bright and makes me happy!

I purchased this backpack several months ago, and now that I've got some experience with it, wanted to post a review. I work a professional office job and was looking for a new work bag to replace my Baggallini model that was falling apart. I wanted a backpack for ease of transporting my laptop, lunch and other stuff I need to and from the office, and searched far and wide for months a model that didn't look like it was designed for a high school kid. This one fits the bill and I really like it! I got the navy blue and pink version, and with the pink trim and gold zippers, this definitely does NOT look a high school model. It was a steal at the price, too - like 30% of the cost of the bag I was replacing! It's big enough to carry my 15" laptop, my lunch bag, wallet, chargers, umbrella, folders, etc. It has a number of zipper pockets which are super helpful at organizing all the little things like pens, charger cables, toiletries, etc. I took it on a holiday vacation and was able to carry all the electronics and small items I needed for daily use back and forth between my hotel and my family's home. It has a wire frame around the top that helps to keep it open when loading stuff into it and that's helpful, but interestingly the same wire frame sometimes gets in the way when trying to pack it - you definitely won't be able to overpack it for that reason (and I guess that's a good thing because I tend to overpack my bags and they probably don't last as long as a result). I seriously love this thing and only have two real concerns - one is the lack of padding on the bottom of the laptop sleeve - it's nicely padded inside, but not at the bottom where the bag sits on the floor. The second is the fact that the front outside bottom pocket zips around the pocket to open/close but only has one zipper head so if you don't have it closed all the way, stuff falls out of the pocket. For these two issues I'd give it 4.5 stars, but they're really minor. If you're a professional woman like me who wants a practical work bag that also looks nice, give this one a shot. I love this backpack. Frame opening makes it so easy to load and all the pockets help organize all those things you need to have at hand in your personal carryon. Love the little hidden pocket on the back for quick access to my phone and ID. No digging into the main pockets. The flight attendant on one of the flights stopped me to say she had the same backpack, except in her required all black, and loved it as well ... show more
