I have tried other lanolin brands, and they tend to smell like freshly sheered wool, which isn't a bad smell; it just isn't something I want on my lips. Lanolips doesn't have that smell. The lanolin does help to moisturize the lips better than other things I have tried, but the lips soon dry out anyway. Given the price of this product versus similar items for the lips, it isn't really worth the cost.

I’ve tried many chapsticks and balms in my life and I finally found the quintessential one. The moisture in this balm is unbelievable. Lasts for hours. The flavor isn’t great (you can’t really taste it), but it makes up for it in moisture. Plus, there’s no “scent” to speak of — just what I was looking for. I have a CPAP machine with the “pillow” style cushions. Many morning when I wake up, the skin around my nose is flaky and peeling, which looks like - you know what. I love this stuff. It really helps my super chapped lips. I use it at night before bedtime and usually during the day also. It’s made a difference in my lips. Very moisturizing and no scent.
