This product is great if you have very dry lips like mine. Im currently on Accutane so it’s a given, however, I wish there was more product in the tube. It’s 16$ and tax for this little tube, which is fine because I don’t mind paying for something that will make my experience with Accutane better, but can’t Lanolips fill it up more? I fully believe that when you are told about something “old school” you jump on it. My grandmother got me hooked on this. I decree that anyone who doesn’t slather this all over lips, cuticles, elbows, any dry areas is missing out. It will not stain your sheets at all. I was so, so sad when Glossier changed its Balm.com recipe. Yes, I know the old recipe had petroleum byproducts, but if I just put a little on my lips after lotion overnight, my lips would be smooth and hydrated all day the next day. So, I went looking for something similar--a one and done highly moisturizing lip balm/sealer to wear overnight (this time without the petroleum byproducts). In March 2023, I found Lanolips and ordered a tube. Reader, it worked perfectly! Every night for one full year, I have applied a small amount of this product to my lips after applying lotion to my face and lips. The next day, my lips are perfectly plump and moisturized, a smooth and shapely canvas for one of my collection of almost 50 lipsticks. Yes, I do take lips seriously. Now it's March 2024, and my trusty tube of Lanolips is running low. Reader, I can't believe ONE TUBE LASTED A WHOLE YEAR. When I bought my tube a year ago, it seemed a little pricey, but averaged out over a year, it's been a bargain. I don't worry about losing it, because I never have to reapply, so I leave it at home. Once at night lasts through to morning, once in the morning lasts all day. Lanolips, I'm yours for life. I'm ordering another tube today. I'll hit you up again in 2025 and every March thereafter. The tube was half filled, at best. There is hardly any product in there. I do LOVE the product and it heals my lips like nothing else. However it feels like a rip-off because you have to squeeze the tube so hard to get the little bit of product even when it’s “brand new.”
