This product was ok; the voice cloning all sounded the same and didn't sound like my voice. It sounded robotic. The software needs a lot of tweaking. The product has a lot of potential but not at the current price point. If it were 100.oo less then it will be a good product of value

I ordered this because I was traveling to a country where I didn't know the language. I hoped it would help me navigate better and meet my needs, going beyond just finding the restroom and saying basic greetings. I have to say, this is a little gem! It helped me order food, find items in stores, and ask locals about places to see and things to do. It even helped me when I got lost! There's nothing more nerve-wracking than being lost in a place where you don't know anyone or any landmarks. This is the second time I've been lost in a different country, and being dyslexic doesn't help. The first time, locals tried to tell me how to get back to the hotel, and I couldn't understand even a fraction of what they were saying. Not this time! It is portable, so I already had it in my pocket I had been carrying it every day since it is light and fits easily in any small pocket, even my wallet. The App (which is downloaded easily in the App store) is on my phone. I carry my phone everywhere I go, so this made it super simple to use the translator. As soon as I asked and it translated the message to my hero for the day! He was able to tell me simply how to get back on the right path. Thank goodness! I was back at the hotel in no time. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without it. The translator is accurate as all the answers I received were right on target. This little gadget also has good sound and is easily audible, even in a louder environment. Overall, I am really happy I had this and I will not travel again without it!

I wanted this translator to help with multilingual calls and travel but it has clear limitations. The device is very portable and easy to carry and setup was simple. When speaking slowly in a quiet place it can translate fairly well. However in real life conversations things are rarely that simple. During fast speech or long sentences the translations were often incomplete or inaccurate. Subtitles appeared quickly at first but lagged as conversations went on. Cross app support worked in some apps but not consistently across all of them. Sometimes it failed to recognize when I started speaking. Video call translation is helpful in theory but delays made it hard to rely on. Battery life is fine for short sessions but not for long days of use.

This app does not function as advertised. The core feature — live call translation — is not just unreliable, it is fundamentally broken. You cannot properly generate or send a working call link to the other person, which makes the entire purpose of the app useless. This is not about minor glitches or occasional bugs. The advertised functionality simply does not work. If the main feature cannot be executed, the product itself is defective. For a premium-priced app, this is unacceptable. The marketing promises a seamless real-time translation solution. What you get is a nonfunctional tool that cannot perform its most basic advertised task.

I was reluctant to try this, I’m a little bit skeptical on things I don’t know too much about especially electronics because sometimes it can be overwhelming for my under educated brain of all these gadgets :-) this one is a little bit pricey too so if you’re not going to use it all the time I would think people would be hesitant to get it, but and I say that with a big but…. This is an excellent item for everyone to have if you have to do any kind of translation on a daily basis or even for travel, for workers for friends for families that have a different language that you don’t know it is absolutely a killer at all of this! This is so cool, it actually mimics your own voice. It works across all my apps with my foreign friends and now they can even speak to me in their language, and I can translate it or vice versa but majority of my European friends obviously speak English. This is going to be great when I need to understand Spanish a little bit better between some local workers that I have that do not speak English that well. It’s a very nice little device that hooks to the back of your phone by a magnetic ring. So cool! I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this! I would say you need to read through the whole booklet first to figure out all the different ways that you can use it. When I first saw that I thought oh no, I’m never gonna be able to understand this but you’ll get through it quite quickly and see what needs to be done. The way it’s packaged almost makes it look like it’s an apple product or something and it could be coming from down the line there, but it is a first class product, very expensive, but totally worth it. I will never be without this again, I will never travel without it. And I will always have it with me in case I need it. One thing I wish maybe that would’ve happened with it is it came with a little travel bag which would’ve been nice so I could keep it in my purse without it getting scratched or whatever cause I’m not going to have it hooked on my phone all the time. Just a suggestion, possibly for the future that the company offered some kind of travel bag or sleeve, for your wallet or plastic protection piece so you could slip it in your purse, which would really be nice. I’ll find my own car device down the road, but I highly recommend this to anyone, for any language, I can’t believe how much I’m going to be using this in German and danish because those are languages that are hard for Me And this one does languages all over the board. Get it you will not be disappointed! A+ in 100 stars on this one!
