Mrs K here: after a lot of back and forth with myself I decided to try this Laneige powder. During the Chicago winters I don't use much powder (52 year old, very dry, post menopausal skin) apart from an afternoon touch up on my nose. In every other month my skin goes full combination (yet remains dry, with all sorts of challenges). I do use powder to set my BB cream, and I've tried so many. This is a really exceptional powder. While I think the sort of Sputnik 60s retro/futuristic compact is almost too much, it's cute, and would look cute on a vanity, if that's your thing. I don't really care about the look of it. The silicone "mesh" inside the compact is pretty slick; the included powder puff is as soft as a kitten's fuzz, and again, secondary to the product itself, though quite nice. The powder is very, very finely milled, and whether applied with the puff, a mini triangle or a brush, only a tiny bit is needed to set your look or to touch up, and it vanishes into the skin. It absorbs excess oils and leaves my skin feeling like actual silk. It lasts for what seems like forever (I went to the gym and did a lot of cooking and other active stuff on a hot day, and I wasn't shiny when I got home, neither did my skin look flat or one-dimensional). Because so little powder is required to buff my skin I expect it to last for months and months; it's not irritating or drying, and I can't believe that I could love a powder at this age, but I do. It also gives that desired airbrushed effect; I feel like I'm walking around in good lighting. Just a really delightful and pleasant product that does what it claims to do, and very well. I recommend it highly.

I have combination skin that is prone to getting oily throughout the day and in humid/hot weather. I always have to lightly dab my face throughout the day to avoid shine, especially when I am outside all day. I had heard of K-beauty products for blotting shine before but have never really looked into it. But I recently went to Disneyland and it was super hot, so my face was shiny all day and I was constantly blotting. So I began researching for products to help with this. I absolutely hate feeling anything on my face. I don’t wear foundation, I don’t wear skin tints. I only wear sunscreen and moisturizer and occasionally blush and mascara. I heard the Kosas translucent powder was really good, but I thought it might be too cakey or heavy for me. I tried this and it instantly exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely invisible. You cannot see it at all and it leaves the skin super soft and matted, but not overly matte. It slightly blurs, just enough to keep it looking natural. You seriously can’t tell at all. It does not leave a white cast, and the packaging it perfect and includes a powder puff separated from the actual powder. You press down on it to release the powder, which is perfect for traveling because it prevents spillage and powder flying everywhere. It is seriously the perfect product.

I have very oily skin, especially around my t-zone, but this product works very well at blurring my pores and reducing the oil build up throughout the day. I've had this for about 3 months now and there still seems to be a good amount of powder left inside the case. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a new blurring powder.

What A Surprise! Item comes in a really nice case, the likes of which I haven’t seen in quite awhile. Great size and easy to just pop into your bag. It doesn’t take much to smooth. I used it on my face on my neck and chest. It gives just enough coverage to give a blemish-free, poreless look. Really love it. I wish it came in colors, as it is a bit light for my complexion. I intend to see what other products from this company I can try.

Originally saw this on one of the social platforms and opted to try it bc I love other products from Laneige. This worked so well while I was in a super humid climate. Keeps my makeup in place and my skin looks super smooth. I appreciate that my skin doesn't breakout when using it either! Love that it comes with a puff inside - a little goes a long way.

The powder is great , I love it, easy to apply !! However , why package it in a cute little compact that isn’t refillable? Is the compact made of recycle material !! What a waste , when the powder is gone and you order another one , what do you do with the case ??? Throw it in the garbage !! Another landfill item . Make it refillable or at least make the case out of recycle material .
