I use this product a lot of times now and it LITERALLY will heal your cracked and dry lips. I only use it during the night time when sleeping. I have very dry and cracked lips and decided it’s time I use something to help and this works wonder!! I recommend putting a bit more if you want the full effect because I use as little as I can and when I wake up it soaks it all up. But since it’s so small I don’t wanna waste too much. I just use a small decent amount that’ll coat an even thin layer on my lips. But I don’t wake up anymore to extremely dry cracked lips. During the day or when I wake up, I use aquaphor. For the price though, idk if it’s worth it for long term use but for now I’ll be using this until it runs out. It works very well, it’s just very expensive. Also, the scent is very nice ... show more

I got this lip mask because my lips get extremely dry and cracked very easy. Like I would have a whole split lip due to how bad my lips would Crack. I'd do everything. Drink water, lip balm and it would still happen atleast 1x every month. It was making extremely self conscious. So I went online and found this lip mask. First off the packaging is absolutely so cute. I love the lip applicator that comes with it so I don't have to use my fingers. It smells and tastes so GOOD. I only have to put a thin layer on and my lips feel lathered and moisturized. When I wake up in the morning, my lips feel good, moisturized and plump. Been using it for a week and I absolutely love it. I know the price is kinda a lot for such a small amount but honestly I can see this lasting me for the rest of the year. This conveniently went on sale right as I ran out of my Milani Lip mask, so I ordered this to see what the hype was about, and if the price tag is worth it. This is what I found. Results: Basically the same. I used both the same way, by religiously applying it every night, and I didn't notice any difference in how my lips felt, both have kept my lips moisturized to the point that I never get dry painful lips anymore. Differences: the Laneige tub is surprisingly way larger, so there's more product. If the little spatula that comes with the Laneige one is used to grab the amount you need (which is very little), this should last you approximately 55 years. Okay, maybe not that long, but over a year easy. That little spatula is the first tool that comes with a product that I actually use, and it is nice because it's easy to clean and it makes it simple not to use too much. They feel pretty similar texture wise, with the only slight difference is that the Milani one has a little bit more of a petroleum jelly feel, and the Laneige one is more like a balm. If you're on a budget, using the Milani one will get you just as good results. Get the Laneige one if you only want to buy this once a year-ish, and therefore save money that way. definetly had softer and plumper lips the following day (compared to sleeping with regular chapstick on) after just one use. when i opened it i thought the applicator was gimicky but when i used it its actually very good quality / helpful application tool. the sleeve is also thoughtful bc i can leave near my bed and not worry about it getting dirty or getting goop on things. so that made me happy. it feels good on the lips too, especially after it warms up you can barely notice theres something on your mouth. exceeded my expectations both in literal effectiveness and experientially. using it made me feel cared for which is how self care products should be. ... show more

I wanted to try this stuff because if all the good reviews. It is a pretty decent sized pot as a little goes a long way. It almost melts on your lips so you don’t require a lot. It comes with a lip brush to apply made of silicone for hygiene. It does help with dryness. I wear it over night and my lips aren’t as chapped but I don’t think it’s the holy grail. My chap stick brand stick does similar. The smell is nice not over powering and it looks pretty with a glossy finish but it’s not all it’s hyped up to be. I love this! I previously had the berry flavor, but went with the vanilla this time, and it's great! I purchased my last jar after hearing all the hype. It did not disappoint. I use it every night on my lips before I go to bed, and yet the jar lasts a really long time. I think the last jar has lasted approx 15 months. It's totally worth the money. I recently tried to buy a similar, cheaper product when trying to be frugal. I won't do that again! The other product is sitting at the bottom of my garbage can right now. I heard about this from a friend and thought I'd give it a try. For 43 years I have ALWAYS had to use Chapstick. Carried them in my purse, my car and I'd use Vaseline at bedtime and again when I'd wake in the middle of the night. After 2 days using this product at bedtime, I only moisturize my lips in the morning after brushing my teeth and that's it! No more tubes of Chapsticks everywhere!
