I washed these before using them and the pillow cases barely fit a standard size pillow so I'm assuming they shrunk! The fitted sheet is ample for a deep 18" mattress. This set does wrinkle a lot. Overall, I give it a 3 as they are comfortable but I would not buy this set again.

We have an extremely deep mattress. No topper, just a very deep mattress. I have spent most of the 2 years we've had it, searching for sheets that will stay on. I have bought and given away more sets than I care to count. They all, to a set, no matter where they are from, how much they cost or what they are made of, the fitted sheet popped off each night and the top sheet barely covered the mattress at all. I even tried the loathsome microfiber sheets. They lasted one night. I need cotton. These sheets are perfect in my world. if you mind wrinkles look elsewhere, these wrinkle but I have the feeling they will soften as I wash them. The fitted sheet goes under the mattress all the way around and stays there. The top sheet goes down to the bed rails on both sides. I can make the bed easily and it looks nice. The color, "mineral" is gorgeous. it works wonderfully with my newly decorated bedroom. I liked them so much I bought a second pair, same color. I highly recommend these sheets. I only took stars off for the wrinkles so you know that if you are like my 95 year old mother who wants her sheets ironed, don't buy these. I don't mind the wrinkles one bit. ... show more

These sheets feel great on the skin and do great in the wash machine but they don't last very long. Less than a year after buying them and there is already a hole being worn in the center of the mattress sheet. It wasn't torn or ripped, it was just worn in by being stretched to fit the mattress over the course of the year.
