This is an initial review, but so far, I am loving these sheets! Small things first. The pillow cases come with a pocket for the pillow so it doesn't slide out. Wasn't expecting that, usually this is something you see on a pillow sham, but nice to find on a pillow case. The fitted sheet comes with an elastic band that helps form the corner for larger mattresses, but tuck the mattress under for smaller mattresses. Finally, the fitted sheet comes with an bottom/top tag on one end of the shee so, no guessing games as to which end is which. Nice touches. I followed the instructions and washed the sheets. Unfortunately, because I washed them with a cotton blanket they came out wrinkled, they were otherwise unharmed. I'm sure they would have been fine in similar linens or by themselves. The linens are fantastic. They feel more expensive then they are. These feel better then hotel linens, or at least the linens used in hotels I've stayed in. They are silky smooth. They almost have a microfiber feel to them, but are much cooler. I have purchased this brand for towels recently and based on my experience with them, I recommended the brand. When I opened the package the sheets felt very smooth. I washed them and they were wrinkled even after a refresh cycle. The sheets also felt less smooth. When I put the sheets on the bed, it was all I could do to get the sheets on my 14" high mattress. Some shrinkage is expected with cotton, but the advertising should give the after washing sizes for the sheets. I'm giving the sheets 4 stars because they do seem sturdy, the color is good, and the texture is comfortable. ... show more

Feel soft and satiny to touch. Lots of fragrance emitting from packaging that I did not like. Oily feel to bag also. I did not do more than barely open the bag to feel the sheets to so cannot comment further.
