Being able to inject the payload file from Rekado on my phone to boot into custom firmware on the Switch makes this cable a handy option while traveling. This thing is adorable, and rigid. I copied a 57GB video file from a thunderbolt 3 HP Laptop onto a Samsung T7 portable SSD via USB C in roughly a minute and a half. If you're dealing with more granular data like google chrome data you obviously will not get that same time. Not even the lord can get chrome data to copy faster. But this cable is sturdy as can be, I've spilled coffee on it a couple times and it still kisses me when I wake up in the morning. If you're a tech geek that likes nice USB C cables to use at work from time to time, TREAT YOSELF P.S. I did not test this cable's display capabilities, don't believe I have the accessories or a thunderbolt ready display handy to make that happen ... show more

The cable is very nicely constructed. It holds up the twists of supporting a portable laptop monitor, sitting off to the side. The only issue I see is with the throughput. It really needs beefier wiring to support larger portable screens and data transfer. I bought a longer more robust cable, but still kept this one. I wished they would rollout a performance upgrade in the future for these though. ... show more

I purchased this to use an external SSD with my Android tablet. What I did, was plug the drive into the tablet, then placed a 3M command strip cut in half that I put on the SSD then stuck it to the tablet. So now I can just plug in the SSD, fold the cable back, and secure it to the tablet so I don't have to worry about the drive hanging from a long cable or anything like that. No not a doctor, but as far as super durable short USB type C cables go, to his is the best I've had. Perfect for the steam deck to connect to a external drive or accessory. I do wish they made a version that had a 90 degree end for the deck.
