I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into with this product. Would it hold my phone? Would it be sturdy? Was the lock button necessary to engage for every ride??? As it turned out I could relax! This holding tool has my back. I have owned this product for about 1 month and it has been extremely reliable. The spring that holds things down is strong enough that I pretty much immediately stopped utilizing the "lock" button. The roads I travel are significantly holey, bumpy, and rough in general and I no longer am concerned that my phone will pop out regardless of the ferocity of the bump. This container is just a rock-star. No matter how bumpy it is, I've never even observed my phone getting "jiggled" within the embrace of this tool. The only thing I have found to criticize is the advertisement. The advertisement clip in amazon showed that you could easily twist from portrait mode to landscape mode - but in order to do that, you would need to allow for free rotation on the ball joint behind the device (at least my experience has told me that). If you had that free rotation, though, it would also mean that the angle of your device would probably dip up/down and side to side while you ride. I prefer that the pitch & angle does NOT change so I have locked that ball joint down (via tight hand twisting) to handle the bumpy ride and not move around. So far so good! It is a little tricky to decide how many inserts to use around your handle bars and it may not be "perfect" since there is so much variety in handle bar size, but hopefully you can lock it down with the included items, too. ... show more

I saw the videos here and read the description, so was pretty sure I'd be getting a good product. That said, I am truly amazed(!) --VERY good price of only $15 --packaging is great, with each piece separately foam bagged and boxed (phone holder and mounting unit) --instruction book is in 4 languages, the first 6 pages in English, and spells steps out well -with good images --assembly is quick and easy, literally less than 10 seconds --mounting the unit on the bike only takes a moment... remove the screw, place the unit on your desired location and remove provided silicone strips until to allow screw to reinsert, tighten the screw and place in locked position --make sure red switch is in unlocked position, insert your phone just like it shows in the listing videos, then slide the red switch to "locked" --loosen the ball joint nut slightly, position your phone (tilt up, down, left, right, rotate, etc), and retighten The unit has a great range for phone sizes, although I WILL say that my Moto One Ace seems to be right at the top end for extension. That said, it's a good fit and I won't have to fight to insert or remove. All in all, I don't think you can find a better deal ++Great price ++Great product ++Total win!! ... show more

Clamping this phone mount to by 1.25 inch bully handlebar was a breeze. The multiple rubber pads included helped with sizing and of course I only needed one layer of padding and the clamp holds very tight. I have ape hanger bars and mounted it high at first but the vibrations further up the bars made me reconsider so I remounted it much lower but made sure it cleared my tank when turning my bars. The locking clip is a nice touch but you have to make sure the gears are in the right place or it won't lock but that just took a second to compress the clamps tighter down on my phone case which felt more secure anyway. Hawaii roads are rough and full of potholes or unintentional speed bumps (over filled pot holes) but I'm pretty sure my phone is securely locked in place. I've always stuck my phone in my pocket in the past but I'm trying out a blue tooth speaker system so I want easier access to my phone if I need to make adjustments at a stop light or by the side of the road. Probably a waste of time as my exhaust pipes will drown out the speakers. Anyway, if you use your phone for GPS which I don't need to on our island, seriously, lol, this mount should work fine if it fits your phone size. ... show more

This is a great product, great quality and will work great for my bike. The only issue is my Samsung s21+ just barely fits I have a relatively form fitting case on my phone, I'm sure without the case it would fit better. But with the case it's a tight fit, The holder still holds very well and secure. I just wanted to let anyone know if your phone is larger than the s21+ this may not be the holder for you. Great phone holder- I can confidently place my phone in it knowing it won't come loose from the lock during even a very rough ride. Slight flaws: * The point of weakness is the globe joint that it pops onto. Occasionally during rainy nights it will pop free. * While the locking clamps themselves can be locked into place, the phone rotates freely on the globe joint and can get knocked into a hard-to-see position during bumpy rides. Installed on GIANT ATX, for use with IPhone 13 Pro Max with Spigen Tough Armor case. Installation is pretty easy. But the attachment of rubber ring is too thick to begin with. Two layer is too small and 3 layer is too tight. So I have to get one from other bike accessories that is half the thickness to do the job (see attach picture) the inner ring is only half the thickness of the other two. Also very annoyed that the manufacturer claim the rubber ring as silicon, which is totally not. A rubber is rubber, why must call it silicon??? As for the Lock at the back. Honestly it’s so flimsy. It’s so tight to push and looks like it will be broken any time soon. The rest of the function is good. Case feel solid except the lock in the back. Rode through lot of bump and unit is still where it is, no tilting. ... show more
