    • Fits perfectly and cheaper than the old kit of individual parts
Not only is it a great replacement for the pump, it's actually cheaper than the old kit with the individual components was, and here you don't have to assemble anything, and all the parts are new. I guess the Chinese factory figured out that it was easier and cheaper to sell the assembly rather than make kits out of the separate parts, but that works for me. This new assembly doesn't have the dab of adhesive on the nuts or screws like the OEM, but I just use a drop of UV cure resin during assembly, but they probably wouldn't vibrate loose anyhow. I do wish the cup diaphragm material was a longer lasting rubber or improved design that doesn't end up cracking after a year or two of full-time use, but it's still longer lasting than the more expensive, non-repairable heavy-duty looking aluminum linear pumps that I kept buying before, which used a lot more power than this pump. And this pump does put out a full 4psi, so can be used with deeper air stones in a pond. ... show more

    • Works great
My laguna air pump (made by optima model PT1630) was not working well. Opened it up and found torn diaphragm. This laguna repair module was easy to replace and saved me $$ from not having to buy a new pump. It didn't come with any warranty. Lets see how long it lasts.

I was a bit skeptical when I decided to buy this..I was reduced to only one output form the pump instead of two. I thought that would be an issue, however after installing it and using for several months now I can say with 100% certainly that I made the CORRECT decision and it definitely is not a problem!! It fit perfectly and functions flawlessly. I only wish I had bought it sooner instead of waiting as long as I did. I also wish I had purchased an extra. Lastly I wish they made replacement kits for all of my air pumps! Thank you and Journey well ... show more

Perfect fit, easy replacement, for my Optima fish pond bubbler (Art. # A-807), at 1/4 the price of replacing the whole pump. Based on the manufacturer date on the pump the original ran 10 years, constantly 4-6 months a year, outside, pseudo covered, in Virginia winters. Let's hope this replacement part lasts as long as the original. ... show more

Our fish pond air pump was making a terrible noise and running poorly. After researching options, we decided to order this part for less than one-third the price of a new pump. It was relatively easy to take the pump apart, remove the old part and install this new part. Now it seems the pump runs quieter than it did when we first purchased it and has excellent air output.
