I got these to lift my furniture and remove/place my washable rugs. They work perfectly for this application. They place and lift very easily, just watch to release - it's a bit fast so make sure they're isn't anything fragile sitting on top before you use them.

Dangerous, and the description is inaccurate: The description says that you can lower the arm slowly. I followed the instructions in the video (ex. put the lower handle in "semi-grasp position"), but the arm always falls quickly, uncontrolled, and dangerously. This is even when lifting lighter test objects and using two hands to make sure that the lower-handle is maintained in the "semi-grasp position." This is even when having a second person maintain the lower-handle in the "semi-grasp position." Since it's so unsturdy, I've only tested it on light loads, and even on those light loads, pieces are rubbing off, leaving flakes everywhere (see pic). This product does not perform as advertised and is also a serious safety hazard.

I've used these a couple of different times now and been very pleased. Holds <whatever> in place off the ground and allows my hands to stay free for hammering or drilling, etc. I was building a Murphy Bed and couldn't hold the piece in place plus get the screw inserted and tightened. Used these to hold the frame in place and free'd up my hands to get the screw installed. loved it.

the prongs that stick out to lift things are a little weak. they bent when i used the tool - but i was trying to raise the corner of a fridge so i guess that was more than the tool is built for. I will weld stronger prongs onto the existing ones and give that a try.

I got these for a woodworking project - am making a large workshop cabinet, and once I got it on its back to attach the face frame realized I needed to get it a few inches off the floor to have room for clamps. These little jacks saved the day! I could easily get them under the cabinet and raised it enough to slide some 2x4s underneath. At that point the cabinet probably weighted around 200 lbs and these lifted it pretty easily. They don't go super high but did the job and are small and compact for easy storage until the next job. The stainless steel construction means they should keep in good shape while being stored in my garage. Would be great for lifting furniture or appliances for leveling or to get sliders under furniture - a great extra hand when needed as long as you don't need to lift anything too high.
