This is my second bottle and my go to cleanser! I use it as the first step of my double cleanse and also to remove makeup. One wash is usually enough to remove makeup and sunscreen before the rest of my routine. I have sensitive acne prone and eczema prone skin, so I am very careful about cleansers. This one is fragrance free, foams immediately you rub it on wet skin and does not leave my skin feeling dry and never gives me that tight stripped feeling after washing. It cleanses thoroughly while still being gentle on my skin barrier and my skin loves it! A little goes a long way and one bottle lasts me around six months, making it a great value for the price honestly! I have also had great experiences with other La Roche Posay products including the Lipikar Triple Repair Cream and the syndet wash for my eczema since over 4 years ago so this was another product I could trust from the brand. I really love their products. This one in particular stands out to me bc I get oily around my chest and get little superficial pimples on my arms/neck and back and WOW!! I've been using this facewash twice a day for about a month now and out of all the cleansers I've tried this is definitely one of the few that have not made my acne worse. Usually my skin reacts within a week or two of trying new products but with this product it remained calm while still providing assistance for excess oil and little breakouts on my face. After cleansing with this product, it leaves my skin feeling clean but without that "overdried" feeling which is something that very rarely happens for me. The texture of the product is a thin gel that foams easily after using only a small amount, and it will rinse off completely and leave no residue behind when you're done using it. The product has no noticeable scent and feels extremely gentle even on days when my skin is more irritated or sensitive. The price of this product is slightly higher than some of the other basic drugstore cleansers, but the amount of time I have been able to use this product has been remarkable. If you're someone who wears heavy makeup on a daily basis, you may think that this product is not strong enough or you may feel like it's too gentle; however, it has proven to be a reliable and low-maintenance product for anyone with acne prone/sensitive skin types. ... show more

I've been using this foaming facial cleanser for a few months and overall, I've had a good experience with it so far. I usually use it at night, and I start by removing my makeup with micellar water, then use this cleanser in the shower, followed by moisturizer. One thing I will say is that even though my skin tends to lean oily, this cleanser does leave a bit of a tight, slightly dry feeling on my skin after washing. I wouldn't really describe it as super moisturizing, but it's not a dealbreaker for me since I always follow up with moisturizer and it fixes that feeling right away. It also hasn't caused any irritation or breakouts for me, which is a big plus since I do have sensitive skin. It definitely feels non-greasy and very lightweight. The texture comes out as a gel, but it foams up really easily once you start using it. I also don't notice much fragrance in it, which makes it a good option for sensitive skin overall.
