I LOVE this moisturizer. It is thick but not greasy at all. I have extremely sensitive, oily skin and this is the only moisturizer that doesn’t make me shiny throughout the day. Great oil control with or without makeup. I have not noticed a smell and it is not sticky.

I get a lot of shine on my forehead and nose and this does a good job dulling the shine compared to other face moisturizers. It does go on shiny and is a little sticky, but quickly dries and both go away. To the touch, you will feel a bit of a film on your skin, but this is what helps absorb oil - it is not visible or noticeable otherwise. Recommended product ... show more

It leaves my face matte, makes my sensitive, acne-prone skin happy, and overall works great. But I consistently want to try something new because of how small the container is, how expensive it is, and how plastic it is. The heavy plastic container is so bad for the environment but it's sadly the best moisturizer for my skin. I would love a value size version of this, or something that incorporates recycled plastic into the packaging. ... show more

This is my favorite moisturizer to use! I have super oily skin, and the neutrogena gel made it worse. This moisturizer slaps. It’s lightweight, a little goes a long way, and it even leaves you glowy. My skin is finally starting to repair itself now that I’m using this!

If you have oily skin like me, this HAS to be in your skincare routine. The quality of this product is top notch, LRP really did their thing with this one. I get oily about 2hrs into the day and when I use this I can last about 7-8 hours… no I am not exaggerating. The value for your money is probably my fave hahah but because you’re not breaking the bank for a great product. It doesn’t have a smell and so easy to use, like come on, who doesn’t know how to apply moisturizer at this point lol. I apply my serums first then this and then sunscreen, and it mixes well with my SPF, which some moisturizers get clumpy afterwards, but not this :) Will always keep this in my household. ... show more

First, I want to say that this lotion doesn't have a bothersome smell or consistency. The texture is nice, and it feels light and soothing during application. It hasn't irritated my skin, burned my eyes (I won't use products that do that, to include sunscreens!), or caused me any irritation or acne. It's a good value. I also have normal to combo skin for the most part. Sometimes I turn into a total grease slick during the hot, humid months, but for the most part, my oiliness is typically in my T zone. I do use some mattifying cosmetics occasionally, but I tend to prefer a more dewy moisturizer. Sometimes I use thicker creams, but for normal day use, I usually put on regular Cetaphil (light consistency) or a tinted moisturizer with SPF, and sometimes at night I will put on a thicker moisturizer such as CeraVe cream, IT cosmetics Miracle, or even a thicker cica cream. Depends on actives, weather, and overall skin factors. This stuff is MATTE. I was actually surprised how matte it got because it went on lovely like a light gel moisturizer. No more than 10 minutes later, I looked in the mirror and all the luster had left my skin. I kind of looked waxy. Okay, not kind of... I looked like I was ready for Madame Tussauds newest exhibit. It is pretty odd. It didn't feel bad or anything, and now that I evaluate it more for this review, I also felt like my skin was made of wax. I did wear it all day with no issues, but I think if I wore this daily, it would have a very drying effect which I don't deal with at all in a moisturizer. I'm not striving for the slicked, "glowy" look all the time. If I want a more dewy glow, I still mattify my T zone with primers or powder. I don't find all that gleam and grease glow to be flattering. So, I have tried to just use this on my T zone. It worked out better, honestly, but it still felt a little drying. I applied a thicker cream at night so I wouldn't dry out. I've also tried it with a more dewy foundation, and still had the same effect. I am considering mixing it with something else just so it doesn't go to waste. I have no desire to "waxify" the skin on my body, so that's out. I really wish I liked it more, but I'm just not there yet. Maybe I never will be. ... show more

If you have oily skin and nothing has worked to combat your oily skin, please give this a try. I also use a cleanser and the serozinc toner (which is good for oily skin) by the same brand before applying this moisturizer to my face. All products in total cost $60.00. This moisturizer works! My skin is very oily but when I use this, omg! It dramatically reduces the amount of oil that is visible on my face by at least 85%. It’s a huge improvement and I will not be using any other moisturizer until further notice. At the moment I’ve used it for three weeks now. Please, if you have oily skin, give this moisturizer and their other products a try. You won’t regret it! ... show more
