    • Gentle vitamin C cream that actually plumps and smooths
I’ve been using the La Roche‑Posay Pure Vitamin C Anti‑Wrinkle Firming Moisturizing Face Cream (1.35 oz) for a few weeks now, morning and night, on my combination skin. The texture is lightweight and fast‑absorbing, so it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, and it layers well under sunscreen during the day. What I notice most is the subtle plumping effect and extra hydration, especially around fine lines on my forehead and around my mouth. My skin feels smoother, and my overall tone looks a bit more even, with less visible redness on my cheeks. I appreciate that it uses pure vitamin C along with hyaluronic acid and is formulated for sensitive skin, since I haven’t experienced any stinging or irritation. A couple of minor downsides: it is on the pricier side for the amount you get, and if you’re expecting overnight, dramatic results, this works more gradually. Overall, though, it’s a great option if you want a daily vitamin C moisturizer that firms, hydrates, and brightens without feeling heavy or harsh on sensitive or combination skin.     • Finally Found Products That Work for My Skin
There is a reason LaRoche Posay products get high ratings. It actually works. I have used many many products and wasted so much money trying to find something to work. I am smart enough to know I won't look 20 but, I just wanted to look better with firmer skin and less wrinkles. But, regardless of what was said to be good the products just sat there and did nothing. I know that products work differently on people and their chemistry. What works for someone may not work for me. That does not mean a product is bad. Just does not Gell with your chemistry. Just like perfume. I saw LaRoche Posey at my drugstore and remembered using it years ago and it did a pretty good job. So I picked up the C serum and the Redermic R. I just picked them up. From Amazon I ordered the C lifting and got that the other day. The products work. My skin did not look so loose and some of the worst wrinkles smoothed out. I also used a little of the Strivectin blur to help out. That helped some as well. My face is much better and it has only been a few days. Granted, I use a combo of the products but, I found the Redermic and the lifting C did alot of the heavy lifting, so to speak. I would like to try the blue and the red serums and too if they do even more instead of the C serum and blur to see what they do with the Redermic R and lifting C cream. I have some what dry skin and these make my skin soft and look smooth without the oiliness that many products have. It is almost like a satin finish. Of. course they are all easy to use and for those who have a problem with scents, I do not smell anything myself but, that is for someone with a very sensitive nose to say for sure. As I said, we all have different chemistries and what works on one may not on another. I'm just saying these products by LaRoche Posay work well with me. I’ve been using this moisturizer on my frown lines and dark spots on my face. I have thus far had zero irritation, which is amazing because my skin reacts to everything. I’ve noticed the skin between my eyes is looking smoother and brighter. I also use Frownies over this moisturizer and still no irritation. I honestly haven’t been applying it to my dark spots regularly enough to notice a change, but will try to remember to update if I start applying more regularly and I see changes. I really like LRP for highly intolerant skin like mine! Edit: I now mix a little of this into my Toleriane Dermallago daytime moisturizer which I use under mineral makeup with spf and I’ve noticed my skin is clearer, smoother, and firmer. These are currently my favorite skincare products because they’re gentle but effective. ... show more

Have bought this product for several years. This is light weight. Does not have a greasy feel or look. Moisturizes my skin especially in winter. Use year round. Plus no strong odor and does not stain. A bit expensive but last a long time and excellent product. Recommend
