Make sure to triple check your measurements. I wrongly assumed this would be tall enough for the plant I bought it for but, due to the raised area where the drainage holes are, the pot is actually about an inch too short. Speaking of the raised drainage holes, who in the world decided that would be the design they chose? The entire point of drainage holes is for the water to drain... But with this design the water still will pool at the bottom rim and cause root rot. I was not happy to see that, but luckily I was able to cut a few holes in the actual bottom of the pot myself pretty easily. Otherwise, I am very happy with these pots. First of all, two pots for this price is a steal! I was about to buy this exact pot by itself for about 3 dollars cheaper, but I cancelled my order when I saw that I could get two pots for the price of one basically! In terms of quality, it's very lightweight so it's easy to move around, but I will say the actual material seems a little weak. I was able to cut the holes in just by sticking the tip of a knife in and twisting it around. That being said, I don't think it would fall a part with normal use, but I don't think it would survive getting dropped like a plastic pot would, but it certainly wouldn't shatter like a ceramic pot would. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase, I just wish I had checked the measurements and I wish they would have put the holes in a more reasonable place.

These pots are great! Look much more expensive than what they cost. The drain holes are raised which allow some water to stay in the bottom but allows it to flow out if there's too much. I misread the description of the smaller ones & mistakenly complained. The company immediately addressed the issue even though it was my goof, not theirs. Just when I thought customer service no longer existed!! Thank you Melrose Home Decor. I'll definitely be ordering more items.

I honestly didn't read the description for these pots and thought, from the picture, that they were going to be ceramic. They are plastic, but amazingly sturdy, and LIGHTWEIGHT! Once you add potting soil, plant and water to a ceramic pot, it can be unwieldy and hard to move around. My only concern will be if they tip over too easily due to their lighter weight. The larger pot also has an inside indentation in the center bottom that comes with a small styrofoam square that fits over it to increase drainage and make a larger empty space at the bottom to help avoid root rot. But that open space contributes to the possibility of it tipping over since there's no weight on the bottom. I may add some rocks and dispose of the styrofoam block so it has a heavier base. I'll update the review of course if I end up having tipping problems (or any other problems) once the pots are in use.

I am picky about yard decor and design and needed a few pots for my new plants. After hours of reviewing different sites and comparing the cost and materials, I pulled the trigger on this pair before purchasing the amount I actually need. First, I was determined to find ceramic or stone with drain holes. Second, I wanted either a bright blue "pop" of color or unique textured design that didn't look cheap. I truly thought I'd be sending these back... but NOPE - they're great! I did a complete inspection of the coloring and there are no chips or paint flaws, drain holes are raised and I may drill a couple of small holes in the bottom. Another pleasant surprise is that the texture feels similar to stucco. I can only speak for this style (gray marble) but hope my review helps others not spend 5 hours wondering if these "just look good online." I'll update this if they fail to hold up...

Although these pots are super cute, the one drainage hole is super weird. Unfortunately I didn’t take pics before I planted my succulents; but I’ll try to describe the issue, that is not shown in the Amazon description. In the middle at the bottom of the pot there is a raised circular tube portion with the drainage hole. There’s like a moat all around this one drain hole. I don’t understand why the company would make a moat around the one drainage hole. My dad drilled extra holes around the moat and it solve the problem, but now I have too much water draining from one of the pots, so I just planted a cactus in that pot that isn’t doing well now. It needed to be replanted so I chose this pot. I assume that is due to the fact that the pot is plastic and not ceramic or terracotta. I don’t know a whole lot about plants, but I do know that ratter shouldn’t be sitting in a moat that could cause root rot. So I don’t recommend this pot especially if you don’t know EVERYTHING about plants.

The media could not be loaded. Needed these to repot some over grown plants. After months my plant is still growing strong! So I propagated a piece to the small pot. There are 4 small holes in the bottom but when I water there’s no leaking. Theyre light weight for hanging and have a nice texture too!
