After spending a lot of time looking for the right desk, I decided to go with this one. When buying furniture, the dimensions are quite an important detail. So is the shape. Pictured in the product details the left is on the right. And thats what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it came on the left. Decided just to completely put it together anyway so I wouldn't be without my set up. Even though its blocking part of my walkway now, its a good desk for the money. Id probably give it 5 stars if I got the product I thought I was buying. Simple to put together for the most part. Wood doesn't feel terribly cheap like I had expected. Much sturdier than I had anticipated. The storage on the end is a nice feature along with the stand. I can't justify giving more than 1 star since its not what I ordered though. Going to try Amazon Customer Service to see what they can do as far as at least a discount since breaking it down and sending it back just seems like too much hassle. *Review Changed due to amazing customer service. I'm only changing the review because they did not ask me to in order to make it right. I've had companies in the past solicit review changes. The seller took care of the issue and made it right. I bought this product to place in my room with the bend on my right instead of the left. The product appears on all the images to the L Desk bend on the right side, instead of the left. I am not returning this product since it will take way too much time to rip it apart find a box for it and send it back. Stay AWAY! false advertisement. ... show more

The L shape was not on the correct side. The picture shows the long piece on the left and short side on the right. The one I received was opposite and would not fit where I intended to use it. There was not a way to flip it so I initiated a return but ended up just using the long section for a laptop desk somewhere else. It is very narrow so I do not recommend this desk with large monitors. I could not sit back far enough from the desk and reach the keyboard. It is OK for using a laptop. ... show more

I mean, what can really be said for a desk off Amazon atthis price point? It was affordable, arrived fast, assembled quickly but cracked the particle board with some screws that were maybe a cm too long.. I hit my knees on the metal leg supports at the bend, and on the hanging file accessory when I try to spin my chair to get up. Its fine. I like that it fits in the corner which creates more space to add other things to the room. Make sure you follow instructions when it comes to the screws. I made an error in screwing a few screws that crunched through some of my wood, but it is covered up, and looks nice.

The longer side goes to the left. I specifically bought it to go to the right like the picture that is shown, the instructions and the box that came as well. Other than that it's a great desk but because it is not the correct way that is shown it doesn't fit where I needed it to.

The instructions for assembly were easy to follow. However, with how the desk mounting was designed you can't choose which side of the corner will have the longer piece, it's always the right side.
