It would be unfair,.when reviewing collaborative works, to judge writers against each other. Sylvia Redmond has a formula that works, and works well, so of COURSE this collection came together well. That being said, the differences between writers was noticeable, not in a bad way but still clear. I must say that, if anything, this might be a good way for writers to get exposure: partner with a powerhouse in the genre and let people see that you too can create good stories. Right out of the gate the stories were well done and really quite enjoyable. The downside is that as the collection went along the stories got worse and even more preposterous. The last 10 or 11 ended up being skimmed over. They got repetitive and to highly predictable. Cant complain for the price because the first few were quite good. ... show more
