Got this as a surprise for my partner's birthday as his old desk simply did not have enough room. Was able to put it together by myself over the course of a couple hours. It's held together really well over the past 6 months and I would definitely buy it again if looking for a cheap desk. His only complaint is that his keyboard has to go in the corner, as the desk lacks depth. I bought this desk to replace one I've had at my setup for about four years now and to give myself a little more working room as I take on bigger tasks. Now, let's get a few things straight: did I expect this desk to be one of the best I've ever owned? No. I know that in most cases, you get what you pay for. That said, this desk is actually really nice once you put it together. It offers quite a few customizable options to fit your needs, which is a great touch. However, it is on the shorter side, sitting only about 2.5 feet off the ground, so keep that in mind. As for assembly, it is definitely a two-person job. I initially tried to do it by myself and quickly realized I needed assistance. The instructions are pretty good overall, but you need to pay close attention to the orientation of the bars and which hole each bar connects to. I overlooked these details a few times and had to restart. Some steps were questionable and took a bit of time to figure out, but that was likely user error. I'm more accustomed to building computers than the desks to put them on. All in all, the desk is pretty nice. So far, I haven't found any major issues to complain about, but I'll keep you updated if I do. ... show more

Works well for me, I can do work on one side and TCG things on the other side. I wish it had some drawers but it's simple design is nice, functional and easy to assemble.
