They're pretty comparable, it just gives my skin a natural, even complexion and covers up red areas that are noticeable to me. It's very easy to apply and only needs a few drops to cover my face. This BB cream foundation is AH-MAZING!!! It is green to skin colored lotion. (as you can see from my picture) the one picture is to show size (compared to my deodorant for size comparison) It goes on super easy, you can use your fingers or a sponge. I tried both and actually prefer my fingers. The amount I used the first time was too much. I’d recommend starting out with a small amount and getting more if needed. The foundation is very lightweight. After it was all done it actually felt like there was nothing on my face. No tightness no crustiness. Light to medium coverage. I love how it covered up my redness and my acne scars. This is a tad bit too dark for my winter skin tone but it’ll go great for my summer skin tone! Helps to not break out my acne prone skin. I always said, as long as Loreal stays in business I can have hair any color that I want! But, when it came to makeup, I had to have the expensive stuff. So things happened, I didn't have that much money, One day I was in a drug store actually looking for a toner for my face when I noticed the Loreal BB Tube. I read that it already has a primer and a moisturizer plus the tinted makeup. So I bought it. It comes in fair, medium and deep, well I am very fair but purchased the medium. I put it on my clean face and it went on so beautifully and smooth and hid a myriad of imperfections, only problem was it was to dark so I purchased the fair and it is absolutely perfect and it stays on. I Love it and then I started their cleanser, moisturizer with retinol their toner, I had to have everything Loreal! And it's more reasonable. I don't use anything else now! I'm in my 50s and have wore Loreals infallible foundation for years. I love it for going out, but felt I didn't need that much coverage for days that I stay home or make a quick trip to the store. I was looking for something that would be quick, easy and balance out my skin tone. This is perfect! It's a nice face cream with tint. I have wore it every day since I got it. I even put my regular foundation on to go to an amusement park one day, but hated the creases it gave around my eyes so washed it off and used this bb cream instead. 🙂 I will continue to purchase and recommend this. skin like texture, perfect if you want to tone down from foundation, but still get an even complection. I have oily skin and this works perfectly for me. Powder like finish, no shiny feeling even after hours. Dries fast and immediately looks natural, very light weight, you can build it if you want. I'm not sure why I believed the marketing on this one, this is a color changing sheer foundation like we have seen with many other types of BB cream or CC cream or light coverage foundations. If you are actually pale this will turn into a very yellow based dark tan. It does not blend in with your complexion and if you sheer it out to the point where it's acceptable it has no color correction whatsoever. I'm afraid this was a huge bust for me. However, if you are a creamier tone leaning towards peach and especially with a yellow undertone this is brilliant because it will contract your redness and have a pleasing texture when used without sheeing it into oblivion. Fair warning this does have a fragrance and although it didn't seem to irritate my skin immediately when I took it off after a few hours my skin was more red than when I put it on. This stuff is absolutely magic and I will never have a makeup bag that does not have this in it. It's so lightweight after application and completely non greasy. It gives my skin a nice smooth even texture and completely eliminates any redness. I'm not going to lie when I first put it on I was sitting in the parking lot at work running late already and it went on super orangey Brown but the longer it sits the more it adjusts to your natural skin tone so after rubbing it in completely all the redness was gone along with all the orangeness and it completely Blended flawlessly into my skin ... show more
