I just received my lipstick today in the shade "Silverstone" and I love it. I'd never tried this shade before and it's always a gamble trying to accurately gauge color via online photos, but I'm very pleased with the shade in person! For reference, I have light-to-medium skin with cool undertones, so I look best in lipsticks with undertones of blue or lilac. I'm definitely not one of those people who can pull off any ol' shade or vibrancy of lip color and I look terrible in tones that are too far on the warm spectrum or too dark and/or flashy (i.e. bright baby pinks, florescent colors, reds, or anything with peachy, yellow, or orange undertones, etc.). I love shades that are in the mauve + blue or grey range (think of a dusty mauve or warm lilac), but sometimes if they're too on the grey side it can look unnatural and wash you out. In other words, finding a lip color that works on me is a challenge! This shade is what I would describe as a beautiful blend of mauve + taupe/fawn. It has a slight brownish tint, but a very subtle one. It also has a lovely silvery shimmer finish. If I had to label it, I'd personally call it a "shimmery mocha." It's light enough to be low key and flexible with a number of looks, but deep enough to still be noticeable that you have a little color on. I can see it being perfect for both professional settings or a night out. It feels creamy and decently moisturizing as well. If you're like me and have cool skin undertones (for instance you look best in clothing colors such as deep earthy shades of plum, teal, navy, forest green, or dark earthy red) and you want a versatile, everyday lipstick that will add a subtle pop of color and shimmer, I'd highly recommend giving Silverstone a try! :) ... show more

I used L’Oreal lipstick decades ago and then started buying expensive lipstick thinking the more expensive, the better it would be. WRONG! I love Bronze Coin, Silverstone and Caramel Latte. I have found that the lipsticks last much longer if you use a lipliner. Don’t waste your money on other brands and buy L’Oreal! Love these lipsticks!!!! ... show more
