I really wanted to love the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Longwear Foundation in Shell Beige, but it ended up being just okay for me. The color match was actually quite nice—Shell Beige blended well with my skin tone and looked natural at first. I also liked the light, non-overpowering smell, which made applying it more pleasant. The makeup quality felt good at first touch, and the packaging has a nice sturdiness to it—it’s easy to toss in a bag without worrying about leaks. Unfortunately, the foundation quality didn’t hold up as well as I hoped. After a few hours, the makeup started to separate, especially around my nose and chin, and the consistency became patchy instead of smooth. I expected more long-lasting coverage for something that’s supposed to be “pro-matte.” It’s not terrible, but it’s not amazing either—definitely a lower star product for me . ... show more
