I'm 57. My skin used to be oily but more dry as I age and now the inevitable fine lines and enlarged pores. I've tried various primers over the past couple of years but this one is my favorite. It is a rosy pink color and goes on my skin very smoothly. Not greasy or sticky in any way but leaves the skin under my eyes in particular very soft and sort of silky feeling. It is very natural looking too and doesn't leave an unsightly residue as other primers have done in the past. I use a light under-eye concealer on top of it and then usually a tinted moisturizer. There is no cakey look or flaking. And there is no noticeable odor or scent, which I like. It just seems to go on gently and work like an invisible smoothing layer over fine lines and pores. I really do like it and am a repeat buyer although one tube of it lasts me several months, which is great value for money. When I can no longer squeeze any primer out of the tube, I cut the bottom off the tube and there is loads more primer on the inside, which lasts several more days.     • Works flawlessly
I mean, this is L’Oreal so it goes without saying the quality of the product is great. What I especially like about it is that it really does blur everything and it makes your skin super soft, but somehow grip your makeup and helps your makeup to stay put all day.

    • A near perfect primer
This primer is near perfection! Firstly, don’t let the serum aspect get you too excited. There’s five different kinds of dimethicone before any of the skin care ingredients. The skin care ingredients are there just for advertising. Otherwise it does what it says as far as visible blurring of lines, pores and wrinkles. It does have some grip to it. I noticed my cream concealers stick on more stiffly than my other primers. The rosy tint gives some color, probably more noticeable if you’re sallow or looking a little tired. There’s not enough pigment to be considered a color corrector but it gives some life to the skin. It’d be a perfect primer if it had more substantial skin care ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid or Niacinimide. But if you’re looking for an old school dimethicone heavy primer, this is for you. ... show more

This is a primer designed to be worn under makeup or on its own. I’ve been using it for two weeks as a base before foundation. I apply it to my combo skin with my finger. It adds a soft, satin-like finish to the skin and feels very light. It isn’t sticky, and the product dispenses in a thin, consistent stream with a light squeeze of the bottle. My makeup sits well on top of it without pilling. Where I noticed the most difference was in how my skin felt rather than how it looked. While it does slightly soften the appearance of pores, it didn’t make a noticeable visual change in pore size or overall skin texture for me.     • I always reach for this primer!
I have used high dollar blurring primers but, I always seem to comeback to this L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Blurring Primer. When I use this it makes my skin feel hydrated and not weighted down. It goes on smooth it is not sticky and dries down fast. I love that I can wear it alone or add foundation or just a skin tint moisturizer and all of them look fabulous.
