I don’t wear a lot of makeup because it just sits on my skin and creases. This seems to melt right in and you can hardly tell I’m wearing anything. It’s a light coverage so if you need camouflage, this won’t be a good choice. If you want light coverage that still manages to even out your skin tone then this will work. I also have a cool skin tone which seems harder to match sometimes. I’m very pleased with it. I have repurchased this several times.

If you have imperfect skin but would love to have that no make-up natural look, this is for you. I'm 50. My skin has developed a mind of its own: adult acne, dryness, etc. In my quest to find products that don't aggravate my sensitive skin, I found a website that lets you know if products have ANY ingredients that could cause issues. This product has ZERO ingredients that are known to cause issues for sensitive or acne-prone skin. I am LOVING this product!!! It balances my skin tone while also allowing my freckles to poke through. I am also able to tap on a bit more around my adult acne, so those are decently covered. I have noticed that I need to exfoliate in order for this to sit well, but I think exfoliating has helped the acne - so that has been a bit of a win-win. It doesn't feel as though I have makeup on; it feels more like a light moisturizer. I do NOT use the recommended primer (I just don't use a lot of makeup and probably put it on wrong because I had pilling when I used it. If I don't use the primer, there's no pilling.) It doesn't settle into the tiny lines around my eyes. I don't need to use a lot of it and haven't even needed to use concealer. I think this might be the best foundation type product that I have ever used. When my daughter saw me, she said, "Oh - your skin is looking so healthy!" I let her know that I am wearing makeup and she was floored. A note about shine: when I put this on, it has a sort of "velvety texture" on my skin. I am unsure what other words to use to describe it. It isn't heavy. It isn't reflective. It isn't quite matte. It just looks like healthy skin. After a few hours, if I do not use niacinamide serum (The Ordinary) then I will notice a slight sheen in my T-zone. If I use a tissue to "pat" that area, no color is transferred but the sheen will go away. When using the niacinamide serum, the sheen is far less pronounced. Overall, I LOVE that this product doesn't have that fake shine look to it; I think that's why I feel like it just looks like a really healthy version of my own skin.

I usually love Age Perfect products from L'Oreal, but this is too sheer for my needs. I have some ruddiness in my fair complexion and this simply does not cover it. I would say it works okay as a moisturizer or primer to prep the skin for foundation, but it really doesn't work well alone, at least for me. I'm not clear whether or not this contains SPF...it reads in the description that it has SPF, but it is not indicated on the product label, nor the amount. That's a big no for me, I have to make sure I have sun protection with my skin care products.

This is my favorite light foundation. It looks like I don’t have makeup on but it corrects what I want it to. The fair 20 is PERFECT for my cool undertone. It hasn’t been in stock since last year and I’ve tried many other products, even more expensive ones, and nothing compares. Bring it back please
