I have bought both the 5 oz and 1 oz multiple times. I think 3-4 times already. I love how thick the cream is and how nourished my hands feel. I don't mind a greasy feel, I actually prefer it, so I don't apply it light-handedly. I will say if you have an eczema flair up, this didn't seem to feel nourishing to me. After reapplying it, my hands would feel like they needed reapplication within 20 minutes. If you have decent skin, then it works wonders. I will say I personally go through both tubes quickly. I compulsively wash my hands so the 1 oz tube only lasts a month and the 5oz just slightly longer (maybe 2 weeks more). But a little goes a long way so to normal handwashers, it will probably last a decent amount of time. The smell reminds me of "fancy" baby powder. The very first time I used it, I couldn't stand the smell and immediately rinsed it off and threw the tube to the side. I am super sensitive to scents and prefer fragrance free. But I needed the high shea content for my super dry skin. Eventually, I tried it again because I ran out of hand cream and liked how moisturizing it was, but still hated the scent. I think it took 3 days for me to get used to it and now I actually love the scent of it. It seems super light to me now versus how overpowering it was on the initial first try. I held off on buying this for years because of the price, but it is 100% worth it. Considering over the past few years I have bought a dozen tubes of O'Keefes, Amlactin, Gold Bond, etc., and none of them were able to do what L'Occitane has done for my severely cracked feet in just 5-6 days, it seems like I wasted money by NOT buying this before. Sadly, I have very rough skin on my feet, and a majority of the foot creams don't work, they don't work at all. This cream softens the heels for just a couple of days. It's not greasy but absorbs very quickly. The smell is very similar to Nivea. The price is adequate for the size, quality and the brand. ... show more
