As with everything else, manufacturers keep using cheaper ingredients to make their products. Brand loyal customers are noticing and looking for alternatives, as was the case with me. This soap used to cost $9.50 per bar; it's now up to $14.00 per bar and of a lower quality. I happened upon another brand of artisanal soap that has many, many different scents available and I can buy it locally, too. I absolutely love this soap and I’m willing to pay $14 a bar because it lasts. Not sure how to do a review for the moron who packaged this delivery. Pretty much threw it in a plastic bag with another item and everything is covered by fine soap dust.

My wife and I came across this soap during a vacation. We loved it and even though it is more expensive than most soaps out there it has become one of our few indulgences. It lathers great, rinses well, and smells fantastic.

I’ve been using this soap daily in the shower. French milled soap is harder, so it lasts much longer, rinses clean, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. If you like a bar soap instead of a liquid or gel soap, but hate the residue (soap scum) that a bar soap leaves in the shower of tub, try this soap.
