Some other reviews comment on the build of the helmet. I've done a pretty deep level of research on the topic. If you look at the item description and title, it days its "DOT approved for Moped, ATV, Cruiser, Scooter". Full face motorcycle helmet is the style, and the rest of the description describes the appropriate application and design approach. I am on a Honda Navi. I will not be on the interstates. I might hit 45mph a few times a day. Inspecting the build of the helmet, it is designed and in line with all approved safety standards put forth by DOT and the other agencies, but I do not believe this helmet was designed for litre bikes (1000cc) racing bikes, or applications where extreme speed will be used. I am very confident that this product is appropriate for its stated application, but I would not get on a Honda Goldwing for instance and go firing off across the entire nation. They fit true to size, and are snug. The ABS plastic is apparently appropriate for a helmet as it is made to take serious impacts. This is great for a Moped, Scooter, Ebike, EScooter, EMoped, ATV or small Cruiser Bike. If that's what you're buying it for, take the other reviews with a grain of salt and DYOR. I do not see a problem with this. The last DOT helmet I bought was actually only $5 and I snagged it from a Bargain Hunt. Price doesn't always communicate quality. I think some folks are a little paranoid. Also, it is apparently fine to print the DOT cert in the graphic. It does not need to be a sticker. Don't take every review as well informed. Oh also, I noticed that if you don't put it on correctly your chin may be poking out. That's not supposed to happen haha. Push it down and forward. The black back fin should SNAP HARD in the helmet, it should not be weakly floated there like in some other reviewers photos. Its kind of fragile though so go slow installing that and BE CAREFUL I tried about 7 times before I figured it out. In regards to the vents busting, if mine break i'll update this, but I suspect gloved moto hands are just slapping at them too hard and ripping them off. It's a very small movement to open those vents. Your gloves make you clumsy and rough. Stay safe.

Pretty comfortable padding, looks great and feels good quality. After dropping it a few times still works good and you can’t even see the scratches. Only downside is that the sun lenses not only block the sun, they reduce your visibility pretty bad.

I love this helmet. I actually just destroyed it last night during a rage when I got home it was so cold. I was just like so mad dude I just ripped off the helmet and just slammed on the ground and beat it with a bat like ripped it off, slammed on the ground, kicked it into my garage and then beat it with a bat, but for the time being that I had this thing it was great the ventilation was awesome. The noise level was way down. The quality was great. The size was all right. The value was all there was perfect for value, but I mean the difference in having it and not having it was night and day that thing made my e bike rides a lot better my e-bike does like 40 miles an hour though so it’s kind of necessary

love how it looks and feels it could be better on noise supression but for riding a bike with chopped pipes i guess its also on me for making a screeching banshee out of a honda shadow 600 but paired with the 29$ cheapy headset its a damn good helmet for 70-80$ i mean i aint ate concrete with it and hopefully never will but for a dot approved helmet at such a low price its a damn good fit i bought medium cuase i didnt want a loose fit i wanted it nice and snugged up the quick release strap on the bottom reminds me of inline skates and i love it. the built in shades are pretty nice to have especially so you dont gotta change to a tinted visor you can flippem anytime you need and not worry about being blind at night with the tinted visors so thats a big plus for me all in all i give it 4-5 stars mainly due to noise compression and the vents on the top i wish theyd open a tad bit farther to let more air in due to it gets hot to wear especially out in this texas weather but genuinely a good helmet for your moneys worth... i see the recommended feature as i type this says quick releaser so lets dive in its a kinda ratchet base system you can tuck ot fully till theres no room it has a click style latch so when you adjust it the further in the more clicks it does and to undo it simply pull the red string/latch release strap and pull compared to a normal helmet i can undo and strap down multiple times before you manually strap your helmet once i mean just sheet speed release like a old school inline skate and its very damn good quality its a thick latch system and not some cheap thing tighten one and snap it off so thats beautiful for a helmet especially if you were to wreck paramedics wont have to jar you around undoing or cutting the strap they can just unbuckle it like nothing and get you out of it with minimal jarring during a injury. thankfully i myself havent battle tested this helmet against concrete and dont want to.

Man! I wanted to like this helmet!! But unfortunately their were just to many flaws. My head measures 22in, I got a large bc I wear glasses and wanted a little wiggle room, It was super big tho. Could have pulled off the M with my glasses. Shipping took Abt a week, packaging wasn't good. They should at least add some plastic bags or something to cushion the helmet. When I got it I checked it out, the top air flow vent was glued, dents throughout the helmet, an a crack under the back air fin. Helmet felt light but I can't speak on air flow or bobble heading bc I didn't try to ride with it. But it did feel nice, not to cheap. Color was nice although we know matte smudges easily. It does have a chin curtain (very thing mesh I'm sure alot of air flows up thro it but can't contest to that) and also a quick release chin strap!! wich are specs i was looking for. I wanted to keep it but I just couldn't justify it with so many flaws. Sad. Returning was easy. Sent the request got the shipping label that same day. As soon as I shipped the helmet out I received a refund. Would have loved to give this helmet 5 stars, but I just can't. I'm sorry. I'm sure most ppl who got this helmet are getting good use of it tho. :)

Fits perfectly for my size/shape, as expected for the stated size. Extra interior sun visor works smoothly. Sturdy strap is easy to adjust and releases quickly. Works well with my glasses. Good looking matte finish, solid construction so I’d definitely say it is an excellent value for the price.
