Some other reviews comment on the build of the helmet. I've done a pretty deep level of research on the topic. If you look at the item description and title, it days its "DOT approved for Moped, ATV, Cruiser, Scooter". Full face motorcycle helmet is the style, and the rest of the description describes the appropriate application and design approach. I am on a Honda Navi. I will not be on the interstates. I might hit 45mph a few times a day. Inspecting the build of the helmet, it is designed and in line with all approved safety standards put forth by DOT and the other agencies, but I do not believe this helmet was designed for litre bikes (1000cc) racing bikes, or applications where extreme speed will be used. I am very confident that this product is appropriate for its stated application, but I would not get on a Honda Goldwing for instance and go firing off across the entire nation. They fit true to size, and are snug. The ABS plastic is apparently appropriate for a helmet as it is made to take serious impacts. This is great for a Moped, Scooter, Ebike, EScooter, EMoped, ATV or small Cruiser Bike. If that's what you're buying it for, take the other reviews with a grain of salt and DYOR. I do not see a problem with this. The last DOT helmet I bought was actually only $5 and I snagged it from a Bargain Hunt. Price doesn't always communicate quality. I think some folks are a little paranoid. Also, it is apparently fine to print the DOT cert in the graphic. It does not need to be a sticker. Don't take every review as well informed. Oh also, I noticed that if you don't put it on correctly your chin may be poking out. That's not supposed to happen haha. Push it down and forward. The black back fin should SNAP HARD in the helmet, it should not be weakly floated there like in some other reviewers photos. Its kind of fragile though so go slow installing that and BE CAREFUL I tried about 7 times before I figured it out. In regards to the vents busting, if mine break i'll update this, but I suspect gloved moto hands are just slapping at them too hard and ripping them off. It's a very small movement to open those vents. Your gloves make you clumsy and rough. Stay safe.

Cancels enough noise! Still hear some wind, but the trade is that you can FEEL the wind. Meaning it actually cools your head off, or at least that's how it felt to me. I like the slide down mini visor as you can slide that down before actually pulling the visor down and it's tinted so it can block a little sun and bright lights. It's very comfortable once on your head too and it even gave me more sound(music) from my Bluetooth headphones. It's an awesome looking helmet too. Barely had to adjust the strap and it locks in, no button. I'll probably drop the helmet before I take a spill while wearing it lol. I already have a agv helmet so it's similar in design besides the top vents. Wondering if there are tinted visors available for this helmet. I don't mind switching them out from time to time.

The media could not be loaded. love how it looks and feels it could be better on noise supression but for riding a bike with chopped pipes i guess its also on me for making a screeching banshee out of a honda shadow 600 but paired with the 29$ cheapy headset its a damn good helmet for 70-80$ i mean i aint ate concrete with it and hopefully never will but for a dot approved helmet at such a low price its a damn good fit i bought medium cuase i didnt want a loose fit i wanted it nice and snugged up the quick release strap on the bottom reminds me of inline skates and i love it. the built in shades are pretty nice to have especially so you dont gotta change to a tinted visor you can flippem anytime you need and not worry about being blind at night with the tinted visors so thats a big plus for me all in all i give it 4-5 stars mainly due to noise compression and the vents on the top i wish theyd open a tad bit farther to let more air in due to it gets hot to wear especially out in this texas weather but genuinely a good helmet for your moneys worth... i see the recommended feature as i type this says quick releaser so lets dive in its a kinda ratchet base system you can tuck ot fully till theres no room it has a click style latch so when you adjust it the further in the more clicks it does and to undo it simply pull the red string/latch release strap and pull compared to a normal helmet i can undo and strap down multiple times before you manually strap your helmet once i mean just sheet speed release like a old school inline skate and its very damn good quality its a thick latch system and not some cheap thing tighten one and snap it off so thats beautiful for a helmet especially if you were to wreck paramedics wont have to jar you around undoing or cutting the strap they can just unbuckle it like nothing and get you out of it with minimal jarring during a injury. thankfully i myself havent battle tested this helmet against concrete and dont want to.
