Got hit by a truck on my electric scooter no head or neck injurys from the accident and helmet only had a broken vent. It definitely works and helped but now I got to get another cause you can't reuse helmets.

So I initially bought this just to have while I save up for a more expensive helmet. For the price this helmet is amazing. DOT which is always important. Cheek pads are soft, it’s comfy but still snug. I actually got in a wreck and went flying towards a tree and retaining wall. Helmet saved my left. At most it had a couple scratches and the visor popped off. But helmet didn’t dent or skim down. Definitely worth the buy ... show more

I bought this helmet to fill the gap until I get a different helmet. It is comfortable. A bit noisy, but what do you expect for the price. I eventually figured out that it takes AGV visors, so if you search around on amazon you'll find some. I put the rainbow one on and it fits well enough. It is light weight - almost to the point of being concerning for the DOT rating, but oh well. The vents work. The chin strap has the quick unbuckle feature which is nice. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because it says it comes with an extra smoke visor. IT DOES NOT. The helmet has one of those goofy inner half visors that drops down with a toggle switch on the side. THAT is smoked, the main visor is clear and there is no extra visor. For this reason alone I was going to return the helmet, but then I dropped it and scratched it so now it's mine. I'll keep it for a spare. Overall, I don't think I'd buy it again, especially given that for $50 more, you can get a reputable helmet with aftermarket support. But as a spare/loaner helmet, it'll do the job. ... show more

Man! I wanted to like this helmet!! But unfortunately their were just to many flaws. My head measures 22in, I got a large bc I wear glasses and wanted a little wiggle room, It was super big tho. Could have pulled off the M with my glasses. Shipping took Abt a week, packaging wasn't good. They should at least add some plastic bags or something to cushion the helmet. When I got it I checked it out, the top air flow vent was glued, dents throughout the helmet, an a crack under the back air fin. Helmet felt light but I can't speak on air flow or bobble heading bc I didn't try to ride with it. But it did feel nice, not to cheap. Color was nice although we know matte smudges easily. It does have a chin curtain (very thing mesh I'm sure alot of air flows up thro it but can't contest to that) and also a quick release chin strap!! wich are specs i was looking for. I wanted to keep it but I just couldn't justify it with so many flaws. Sad. Returning was easy. Sent the request got the shipping label that same day. As soon as I shipped the helmet out I received a refund. Would have loved to give this helmet 5 stars, but I just can't. I'm sorry. I'm sure most ppl who got this helmet are getting good use of it tho. :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant to buy a helmet at this price point when the ones in motorcycle shops are so much more expensive, but this KYPARA helmet seems comparable to the popular HJC models I've seen around. I have been riding with this for a couple months and like it so far. I've even received a few positive comments about the futuristic styling. My only complaint is that the outside visor fogs up quickly while waiting at traffic signals. Let's hope KYPARA didn't cut corners in the crash worthiness, and let's hope I never find out! As for sizing, I usually fit into a Large hat, and this fits me well but just a little bit larger. ... show more

Great helmet. I wish the vents could've been a lot more bigger as it does get stuffy inside causing face sheild to fog a lot easier. I love the flip down sun visor. Find myself using that more.
