This is GREAT foundation. It may not be for everyone but it's more than perfect for me. I will explain my situation and how I apply it. I have dry flaky uneven skin and I have the hardest time finding a foundation that doesn't make my skin look even more dry. I found a trick for that and to make it go on very even. I cleanse, tone and apply moisturizer for my eyes and face and let my skin absorb the moisturizer well. Then I start applying foundation. I don't recommend using a sponge because it will be uneven coverage and it will suck up all of your foundation, you will just end up wasting it. I use a foundation brush. I wet my foundation brush and press it on a towel to remove any excess water. I then put a small amount (about dime size) on my hand, I then grab some with my brush and start brushing from the inside middle of my face OUTWARD. This insures you wont get the "mask" look, and it makes it look perfectly blended with your skin. You can get more foundation and add it on if you need more coverage. The key is building it.. not just putting a huge glop on your face then trying to blend it. This would be difficult. I then I then use whatever is left on the brush on my nose because this is my most dryest and it flakes vey easy. I then set with a setting powder. Instead of brushing the powder over it, I dab it all over. Overall, this foundation gave really good coverage, stayed on more than 14 hours. I never touched it up, it did not oil up or smear. This foundation gave more of a matte/natural mix coverage. My husband even complimented me and told me my face looked great and that my skin looked like a porcelin's doll :) This foundation is a keeper!! ... show more
