I had just replaced my shocks and struts on 3 locations. The Drivers side front was a problem. The bolt was completely seized. I had to cut with a torch the original rubber was torn straight down the middle. I had my truck on the hoist and no other vehicle to go get a part. I checked here on Amazon and they said it would be delivered the next morning. It arrived at 9:00 am the very next day. This was a perfect experience. I had the old one cut out and everything ready when the new one arrived. Pressed it in and installed the strut. It doesn't get better than that. ... show more

Works perfectly , need this whenever you do the struts .. cut the old one out with a sawsall and press in with a ball joint press .. extra 30 min a side but saves the headache of trying to actually get the bolt out .. have done 3 sets of these and never got one out.... update , the nuts are supposed to be oval ( locking feature ) and as far as the squeak when done, if you tighten the shock before the suspension is at “ride height” then you’re going to ruin them instantly.. that goes with all bushings ie control arm, traction arm etc .. ... show more

This part is perfect and the only one I found that came with the bolt and nut. As for the nut it is oval, and it is supposed to be that way its the locking feature. However they are extremely hard to remove and install. I would recommend buying the complete lower control arm, $30 for the bushing or $100 for the control arm with three new bushings and ball join already installed. Trust me I wasted a weekend damaging the control arm trying to get this out, now I'm buying the control arm to get my truck functioning again..... ... show more

The one I received had a bad nut. It is out of round and does not thread all the way on. Will have to return. Not good when you take a vehicle apart!
